Over a month later, all of my controllers except two continue to work perfectly. The two that still have issues are the newest ones I have, which I haven't used any silicone spray on.
No drifting. However, I never did fix the last pair, and I ended up calling Nintendo customer service. They actually replaced all 4 of my controller pairs with brand new ones. So, if you don't mind waiting a week and a half without your controllers, I'd recommend just having Nintendo replace them all instead of this method.
this cracks me up.. I'm over here looking at your pcv stuff and leak tests for my sonic... then I was looking at the big power wire.... and now I'm seeing the joycon drift (that my friend has an issue with) and it's also from you.. you're everywhere.
Well its a chronic issue with the console. When something is getting so bad the company that made it has a class action lawsuit heading its way. Its always nice to have some way of medicating the problem till it out right breaks.
5 days in, and the controller continues to work better than the other 7 I own. I decided to only fix one controller so I could compare it to the rest of the broken ones but my kids are starting to complain about the others. Everyone fights over the newest set because of how bad the others have become.
