@@dakotariversGlad you saw my comment. All your videos are really useful. I'm 16 6"6 and only like 175lbs so you're a perfect role model. Helping me stay on my grind!!
Dakota, I realized how many peoples lives you have changed and mine too. I just started working out and waking up around 6:00 getting 8 hours of sleep and weighing 91lbs at 13 years old was really underweight especially for 5’4 and being a descent height. Thanks for changing my life and helping me with my basketball career ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Dakota. I just want to let you know just how much of an amazing human you are. Every time I feel down you help me push through. I want to thank you for that. It’s safe to say your videos help a ton of people. Much love.
Congrats on the 100k! I was the exact same way. I could eat like a horse and not gain an ounce of weight. But as I got older my metabolism slowed down. 1 year ago I was 6-4, 187 pounds, now I'm 6-4, 213 pounds, almost 30 pounds of muscle I gained in a year, and it wasn't just eating, it was eating, lifting heavy weights, and most importantly getting enough sleep, sleep is more important than your diet and exersice combined, and don't skip leg day, most of your weight is carried in your lower body, and muscle is heavier than fat, so going hard on leg day will increase your muscle mass while maintaining a good body structure. I implemented Dakota's lifting workouts on this channel and within a month I started to see results and I'm sticking to that workout and making progress every day. And be consistent with it to. Yeah you have work, school, family, I get that, but you gotta make time to get a workout in at least 2-4 times a week, especially as a man, if you can't do it early in the morning, do it late at night, no excuse to be fat and out of shape in 2023, especially if you live in a first world country
@@PyroJovanny912 that's fine. But you should aim for 8 hours of sleep every night. The hack is if you have a lot of things to do. Instead of staying up late, go to bed early and wake up early
@@dakotarivers hey Dakota, any plans for the G-League or Overseas Pro-Play in the near future? I know you’re a senior and all in college (correct me if I’m wrong please) so what’s the next step for you ? 🙏🏽 thanks for all the relevant tips and inspiration

No hate but a lot of stuff in this video could be better. Main source of protein is peanut butter? Almond milk is better than regular milk? If you're trying to gain weight and put on muscle whole milk is a great option, more calories and more protein. Whole milk also has a better protein to calorie ratio than peanut butter does but you bashed the milk and said yes to the peanut butter? People don't understand nutrition, even the simplest things.
