Hamza I respect you helping these young men out but you saying 5'4 to 6'1 is just misleading. It makes it sound like you did that after puberty. You might as well say (0’0 to 6’1) (in the womb)
I’m also 6’1 and was small in high school 5’4 till around 16 then had a massive growth spurt. I didn’t really do anything, I do remember being tired all the time and very hungry but obviously that was my bodies reaction to it wanting to grow. I agree selling a dream that height isn’t almost completely genetically determined is detrimental to young guys as it could make them think they are doing something wrong when really it is set from the start. Also growth spurts do not happen at the same age for everyone. I was very late in puberty and didn’t stop growing till I was 18/19 but some of my friend were basically at there adult height at 14.
Guys chill, back then he actuelly sad that he was about 5 6 when he was 16 ans with 17 he had a growth spurt. It was the little diacussion with wheat whaffels.
Facts bro there’s no true way to tell how little or how much you will grow, even during puberty, you just need to eat well, maybe bulking will help but there is no proof out there to show. Just stay healthy
I was always around 5'8, and until age 17, I did nothing of exercise or eating well, my father, and no one else in my family is bigger than 5'9. When I started sleeping more, going to the gym and eating better, I started growing again. At the moment, I've gained a little bit of weight (I'm an ectomorph, so gaining weight isn't as easy as it seems), and now I'm 5'10, and still growing. Don't give up hope, you can still grow. Edit: after posting this, I stopped growing for about a month, but a short while after that, I grew again, this time about half an inch. Then I got into a really stressful time of my life, and for about two months, I stopped growing again. Currently, I am just above 5'11, which means that I have grown again, and I am still growing at this moment, even though I am almost 18 already! Dont give up trying to grow, because it will be worth it in the future!
@@weirdflex8158 Just because your genetics say you can grow to for instance 6'1, doesn't mean you will actually reach that height. Only when the right conditions for growth are met (exercise, sunlight, enough sleep, eating healthy), then you will grow.
(The message before this edit is down below) Message for you guys as well, this will be the most important message you will probably hear in your life. It's the Gospel. Jesus came 2000 years ago and died for your sins on the cross. Romans 6:23 - “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Me and you sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and due to that, we deserve death, but Jesus took it for us that we can live an eternal life in heaven. Romans 10:9 - "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." God bless you! Summary of the vid for y’all: 1. Bulk up, eat a lot 🍎 2. Do weightlifting 🏋♂ 3. Get more sleep 💤 4. Get sunlight ☀ Edit: *just learned genetics are 60-80%* but this stuff 100% helps and will get you more inches higher
@@jjboss7896 cos they don’t have food in abundance. My mum is 5’3 and my dad is 5’5 and I’m 5’10 even though I been eating a really bad diet throughout my life
For myself: 1. Sleep. Get at least 10hours of sleep so an 10,5-11hour bedtime 2. Eat enough. Bulk. At least 100cals above maintenance daily. Just remember these 2 things. 1. Don't eat/consume sugar. 2. Don't eat/consume processed food ( McDonals etc.) Calcium is crucial for bones. Make sure you get AT LEAST 1,300 mg of calcium daily. 3. Lift weights. Go hard. Build up musculature to support the growing bones. 4. Sunlight. Once you finish school, get outside. Just literally go outside and bath in the sunlight
number 1 reason he is telling the truth and teaching us is, his videos are not entertaining there is no editing or such its just him teaching you, and I love that!
I started self improvement at 16, and I was 5 9 flat back then (175), at 17 I grew from 5 9.5 - 5 10.5, and at my 18th birthday I was 5 11 exactly, I don't really check anymore, I could be 5 11.5 or 6 ft now. But weightlifting and sports + sleep and nutrition is seriously the best way to help your growth.
@@yellowindian5134 You shouldn't just weight lift, in fact I'd recommend you to do less if you're 15-20 years old, try running swimming or basketball, all really good cardio, but never overwork yourself tbh, that's the worst thing and you wont 100 percent grow, I'm just lucky cuz im a late grower but id def be shorter if i didnt try anything healthy
Something I’d like to point out is, height isn’t one of those things where the taller you are the better, no. There is such a thing as “too tall”, anything after 6’3” it gets inconvenient because you can’t use public things that comfortably anymore. Even travelling becomes a little inconvenient.

I am from southern part of Asia(India) . both my parents are below 5'4, I am 18 now and is 5'10(and still growing) and weights bit lower than 160lb. I always been a fat kid from childhood to like 16 & now I am kinda bulked with muscles. Eating a whole bunch of food(junk and nutritious food) have surely helped me to grew more taller. Even my sibilings are like 5'1 but the only person who is kinda tall in my family is my uncles 5'8, 5'9, 5'10 . so the conclusion is that eating all whole bunch of food during our growth will surely help to increase our growth and being active might also surely help.
I agree. Doing all of these things won’t guarantee you’ll be tall, but it will definately help you reach your maximum growth potential. Even if your not as tall as you wanted to be, you still will be taller than if you would have been if you had lived unhealthy
Yes but sadly people think they will outgrow themselves a lot. Unfortunately our height is based on our genetics. We can’t be taller than someone who’s tall if we don’t have the genetics
Before I went on self improvement, I was somewhere around 5'9 to 5'10 and now people are telling me I'm 6'0 or 6'1. Before this, I hadn't gone through a growth spurt in a while (I am 19 years old). Doing exercise daily, eating a lot and sleeping 8 hours a day can significantly affect your height, especially when you're young and not quite done with puberty yet.
Bro, same case, I am 17 now, I am 5'9.5 and haven't had a growth spurt in a while, I am eating good now, have been doing weight lifting, have gained around 10 kgs in 4 months, I just wanna ask, if masturbation affects growth, or actually if you masturbated during these years of your growth, I am trying to limit my mustarbation, I have been quiet successful in doing so recently, and what else can I do for growing tall, help me please.
@qazq oaoo I know for sure that I was a little over 5'9 in January of this year. At the time, I was 18 and a few months away from turning 19. I started self-improvement in early June and by mid-october people were telling me I was 6'0. I don't really have a precise timeline of my growth in height during self-improvement as I never really measured my own height during this period unless I was asked to do so by other people since I figured that would fuck with my mental health more than anything.
@@animememes7531 Luckily I've completely gotten rid of masturbation early in my self improvement journey using the easy-peasy method, but I am pretty sure it had no effect on my growth whatsoever. In fact, I think the one thing that affected my height the most was the changes in my alimentation. I started eating more and eating cleaner stuff. Nutrition is probably the thing that will affect your height the most. It's for that reason that people in developed first world countries who have an abundance of food tend to be much taller than people from third world countries where malnourishment is way more common. All in all, if you have healthy life habits and you're still below 20, chances are you might grow taller.
I'm 20 right now, and I wish I heard this when I was 12-14-15. Anyone who is in that age rage right now. Please take this man's advice. He changed my life forever for the better.

Keep your confidence man, you can grow many inches in a few months. I went from 5'3 to 5'6 in a year and around 2 years later, I'm 5'10 and still growing. Yes, I am 14 and a bit, but it's the same whenever you hit your growth spurt. (If you wanna know, my Dad is 6'4" and my Mom is 5'0")
I was 6ft 1 at 22 after finishing Uni so nearly 23 and within about half a year from Summer until January I grew an inch which was helped by doing alot of lifting +having more protein in my diet imo.

That is somewhat True. I had problems on growing when I was a kid, cause I took way too much medicines and I fucked up my GH. I went to the doctor and I took gh for 3 years. There is one important thing that I want to share with you and hamza didn't said. Exercise is important as fuck. Weight lifting isn't enough. Go for high hearth rate and exhausting stuff. Volleyball, basketball, soccer, run, bycicle. Whatever you like. When you weighlift you primarily hit your muscles. To grow you need to hit your bones. Cardio is more important than weights. Still hit the weights tho. This is a specialist advice. I went from 141cm to 171cm (genetical problems ok)
@@user-hz4rh7py9kfrom 2015 to 2018. There are more things i would like to share but some guys would try to argue against, i don't want to start a discussion. But there is a limit of time that you can grow. It can be anywhere between 13 to 26 It's called "Bone age". When your bone age hits 15 years old, you stop growing (you can grow just 1 or 2cm later that but it's unlikely. It's kinda of a delay you had). and this is tricky cause your bone age can advance 3 months in 1 month, or it can advance 1 month in 6 months. You can't predict it. You need to go to a doctor and make a bunch of exams.
@@xhafts i mean that its not enough. Teens need to move. Cardio! Run, jump, whatever! You need to stretch your body; this didn't come from me. It's was my doctor that explained this to me ok?

I have been through puberty since like late 11 or early 12ish and I’m not 14 (15 in 2 months) I don’t think I really got a growth spurt besides 1 year after puberty which was from like 5’0 to like 5’3. I’m currently 5’5 and have been this height since age 13
@@samitxh i thought the same thing i basically didnt grow from ages 12 to 15, when i turned 16 i really started growing, really interesting honestly, just remember that growth isnt linear its fluctuates up and down
My fam has always been taller than average, but I'd suggest ensure, the formula that kids/grannies drink. Not sure whats in there, but it deff helps height.
- Intermittent fasting - Stretching - Intense exercise daily (jumping/plyometric exercises are very good) - Lots of calcium, protein and Vitamin D - Low insulin - Enough sleep
think one of the reasons that didn't let me grow much (I'm 20 and 168cm) were my bad habits as a kid, spent whole days on the computer, eating junk food.. tho height has to do with genetics of course but what I mentioned didn't help for sure.. despite all that, it's okay to be short boys, what you should do is try and change the things you can change, start working out, be productive, invest your time and will of power... As a short guy, women were never a problem to me. Stay strong brothers

shut the f up, you didnt grow 12cm in 10months 😂 The one man who basically showed people that it is possible to grow after 20yo only grew 8cm in a year, and he exercised for like 7h a day as a height jumper.
quick message for those who are short: don't hate yourself or think of being short as a bad thing, why would it just be a bad thing? it's a trait with pros and cons just like being tall, or anything like that. Keep in mind as well, there were world leaders that were very short, I'm sure you have already heard of them so I won't say it here. Point is you shouldn't see being short as a bad thing if you can't change it, though there are things you can change about it.
Also, note from a longevity standpoint: shorter people have been shown to live longer. I'm not quite sure about the biological basis of this, but it might relate to growth factors such as mTOR and increased cell division, i.e. increased risk of DNA damage and cancer, which longevity drugs have been produced to inhibit. However, there are other benefits to being tall - it's really just about balance.
I think people back in the day were a bit shorter on average too, but also this whole height hysteria seems to have become problem after the advent of social media, where women started feeling like 6 foot+ is the average height and anything below that is short even though it's actually average, attractive women became spoiled for choice. But yes, being shorter than other men shouldn't be a reason for you to feel any less, there seems to be a lot of tall guys who feel that they are better than you simply because they are tall on social media, fuck them, work on yourself. Use that underdog energy as fuel.
Hey Hamza, I really NEEDED this Video today! Just turned 17 last week and since I started getting worried of not growing any more (172cm 5‘7.5) For all my life I’ve eaten too little, slept not enough, barely did any exercise and ignored the sun outside my room. For the past 2 months I have been living healthier than ever before, I just hope it’s not to late for me and I can still reach 5‘10 / 178cm
I believe males stop growing around the age of 21 so don't worry too much. I was in a similar position to you, didn't prioritize sleep nor did I eat enough. As long as you optimize these things then you are bound to grow taller.
@@Frenbench it’s not guaranteed for every guy to keep growing until 21, some guys stop growing at 14-15 while some can grow until early 20s it really depends on genetics.
Do the 4 things Hamza said you should do, but I will give you a tip of mine. Stretch your body every morning, especially your legs, back and neck. I have grown alot of this so do this and you will reach 6'0 / 183 cm.

Hamza abi thank you so much I had ED for two years at the age 13-14 and my puberty stopped too. I am 15 now and healthier than last year. I also grow a little but not that much I wanted to thank you THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Hate to bring you down brother, but don’t believe anything Hamza says in this video. Everyone knows you grow horizontally when you eat more and not vertically lol.

Another reason why working out is good is because ( with good form ) it’ll help you have better posture. Which could contribute to helping you reach your maximum potential height
Thing is I have never bulked (I’m probably underweight) yet I’m 6’2 and my Dad is 5’11. My younger brother eats way more than me and more weightlifting and is only 5’11. Genetics play a huge role. For reference I’m 23 he’s 22.
Yep it’s mostly genetics and you can hit your potential by essentially not being completely malnourished. So even though you are underweight its most likely a result of those calories going to your height. My brother who has dwarfism (the treatable type) took Growth hormone from 4-18 and is even now incredibly skinny. The doctors didn’t think he would make 5’8 but got to 5’11 my parents asked why and they said that essentially his genetic potential was higher then they thought. As my father is 5,9 lol
I'm 19 and 5'9. I grew 2.5 inches from 16-19 through better sleep and starting an apprenticeship. My diet was and still is alright, probably way better now, but I'm glad I was able to get to a medium height. I do have a potential genetic cap, as some of my family are really tall and others are quite short. I know some guys who didn't exercise, were really skinny or chubby etc, basically didn't sleep and they literally all grew to be quite tall or at least a medium height.

Remember male growth plates fuse slower than females, girls typically finish between 16-20 and boys typically 18-22, and your spine and legs finish last. At 17 years old I was 174/175cm and though slowly now at 20 I am 178/79cm. Many world level athletes and even random celebrities have had slight growth spurts through their late teens and early 20’s. @@yellowindian5134 No, I’m not Bill Nye but it stunts your growth only if your not getting the right nutrition in order to grow. To make sure you eat your protein and lots of veggies and sun
Well I don't know if this was a coincidence or not, I'm 18 years old and I started weightlifting since August of this year and in the beginning my height was 173cm(which is 5'8) till yesterday I measured my height and it was 175cm (which is 5'9). As I said it might be a coincidence or maybe not, but I'm happy with that :)
It may sound like broscience, but there is a plausible mechanism for why “bulking” reasonably can help u be as tall as u can be. Oestrogen prevents growth plate closure and if u’re eating enough food u will increase ure testosterone (which will convert to oestrogen) which will prevent closure, and with heavy lifting and general being athletic u’ll put urself in a better position for GH levels. The combined effect will maximise ur growth. Doing the opposite will mute ur growth.
Huh? Where did you get this information from? The main hormone responsible for closing and ossifying growth plates and speeding up the process of bone development is oestrodial, a form of oestrogen. Having high bodyfat increases oestrogen production and speeds up growth plate closure. Having low oestrogen slows done the process of both bone growth and growth plate closure, so you'll grow slower but for longer. Whereas high oestrogen gives you quick growth spurts but you won't grow any taller afterwards.
Alot of what you say hamza is accurate and really helpful, but height is mostly genetics. But its true that you need proper circumstances to reach your genetic height.
Everything in this video is actually pretty accurate from what I know, even if it helps you get half an inch it's still something. At the end of the day height is genetic so do what you can but don't let it ruin your confidence or whatever.
Bro eating in a calorie surplus will have no effect whatsoever on height lol. As long as you are eating a healthy amount of food you will hit a genetic limit that varies between everyone. The shortest and tallest people on earth aren’t what they are because of the amount that they eat lol
I did everything Hamza’s mentioned especially @ 17 when I noticed my younger bro passing me. I started weight training, jumping daily, drinking milk, fish, chicken till my 20’s & still from only 5’9-5’10. Whiles I got a friend who’s never exercised in his entire existence. Skinny fat dude, tall dad, short mom, video games throughout @ my house, messed up sleep patterns smokes, drinks & dude grew past me to 6’4 from 5’7. & another friend who’s 19 atm & 6’7 only played basketball, messed up his entire childhood times with 🎮 McDonald’s, sugar, alcohol & every bullshit you can think of with a very short mom, never met his dad, the man’s French but I believe he’s tall cause the dude is 6’7 @ 19. So it’s all about your genetics boys.
Its genetics, Hamza is saying bullshit. Pakistanis are pretty tall people, and he probably had a late puberty sort of growth. I know my friend used to be shorter than me, but he passed me later in high school. I was an early puberty person so I was over 5'9 before high school and now I'm only just under 6'0
@@bobbyiscool it’s not purely just genetics but it plays a big factor and it really doesn’t matter if your parents are tall or short but it plays a factor if they are tall. @@kpsiex Bro, you can't add more than 1-2 inches to your maximum potential height. Maybe changing his lifestyle allowed him to grow taller, but for most people you can't change anything. Its over if your growth plates are closed. He was a late bloomer so his workouts maybe helped a little bit.
At 17 years old, i was 5'7 and half (171cm). I wasn't to obssesed with my height, since one day where my tall fridn (6'2) called me short. Before that, i never had remarks about my height or something that can touch my physical appearance. But since this, i became obssessed with my height. I wanted to GROW taller so bad. So i did my research on every possible way : forum, discord, tiktok, books, and even scientifical articles. And this is where also i started to lie about my height. I used to always say yeah I'm 5'9 while i was only 5'7 1/2. I started by jogging like 2/3 times a week for likes 3'4months, and i went to the doctor, i was still the same height. I started to lose my confidence, and became really sad about it like no joke. I didn't want to given up, so i continue by doing some other things. I started stretching. For like 4months also, i did all the stretches possible every night before bed. 1month later, i have an appointment at the doctor, she measures me and im 173cm. I was like no way (I was 18 and 4/5months at this measurement), for an entire 2years i didn't grew but then all of sudden i grew 2cm. I started to try harder, and started also to becoming careful about my diet, my sleep schedule and also the sport. At this period, i was 18,5years old. My ex ditched me, and i was in a bad pass so i started to get a membership at the gym with my bois. I also started to get supplements. The supplements that Im gonna give u is a result of 2years of my own research and a lot of reading about articles, books, and scientifical articles. The supplements who are essential to our body are : Arginine/Ornithine, Vitamin D, Vitamin C and BCA. You can also take Glutamine and Ghreline. Both of these supplements, combined with weight lifting, 9-10hours of sleep everyday for a all year, having a good posture and also believing in growing ; I am now 19years old and 5'9 1/2 (1.76-1.77cm). Btw id like to say that i still haven't had an appointment with my doctor, but all my friends who are in this range of height, I am the same height as them now. I had a friend who when I was the height thas i was at 17 ; He was 5'9 (1.75cm). He grew to now to a 5'9 1/2cm to (1.76cm). I am the same height as him now. Just to say that its never to late, believe in yourself and make some changes to become more confident and more happy cause in the end your gonna live in this body till you die. So to conclude, In 2years i grew 2,5inch at 17 to 19years old. I think i can achieve the height of 5'10 but higher is most unlikely and im already thankful about what I did to make the things right about how i visualize myself and becoming more confident. PS : hanging from a bar, and also add some ankle weight while jumping can also help you to grow. Dont forget your veggies, your proteins and your calcium to grow. To clarify this also, my mom is 5'3 (5'4 at her prime) and my dad (5'9) , (5'9 1/2 at his prime to). I want to reach the height of 5'11 but i know its really most unlikely due to my age , but 5'10 is reachable since i have like 1year again to grow 2cm. If you have some questions id be glad to answer them. (Im french and writing this at 12pm lmao so i know that my english is not that perfect but yea) Take care

thank you for this video Hamza, Ive been really down about my height recently, being 5'5 at age 17. but knowing that it is possible to grow more and have a growth spurt in your later teen years, and seeing all the comments about people shooting up at my age has really helped me. ive been lifting weights for quite some time, but the other two pieces of that, eating and sleeping I was slacking on, and especially eating I used to be anorexic which stunted my growth. Im hoping I can really maximize this last year of time I have to grow, and make it to a somewhat normal height
hamza is correct but this only works if your below the age of 20 biologically though. but if you rlly wanna grow taller, you can pray 🙏 like i’m doing everyday
@@krish3964 i stopped growing at like end of 16 i’m at end of 18 idk if i have a chance so i can’t say anything but i’ll say if your surpassed your dad your chances are low
I'm 22 now 5'8 and know the struggle and unfortunately a person like Hamza has come a bit later on in my life, but I have been employing this technique of eating bulking and working, and yes obviously my height is not changing, but I am feeling bigger as a person and ultimately stronger. It is frustrating that height plays such a big role in social and financial well being but feeling confident is everything and I to want to stress that regardless of your height. Have confidence and only strive to be the best you can be
5ft8 is good. Maybe it's not tall but it's still a blessing. What annoys me is that we live in a society where heightism isn't condemned when height really doesn't determine anything about you in life and its something that you can't control it(there are things to make you taller like in this video but it's not like you are the one choosing to be 6ft or above). You can still be a great person regardless of what your height is.
I’m 6’2.5 and 17. What I did ever since I was 13-14 was run everyday, on a treadmill everyday on max intensity for 30 seconds then stop and kept repeating studies show this can highly increase growth hormone levels by 200-300%. My parents are probably shorter than yours.
For new viewers, keep in mind that bulking will take away so called "brain points" that Hamza talks about: meaning that you'll use some of your productive potential each day if you bulk because of the body having to break down the food you eat. If you are in a state of life where making money is the most important thing to you - skip the bulking and go intermittent fasting combined with one meal a day (OMAD).
Hi yes you are right when I was 13 I played ⚽️ I neglected my eating not sure why it was becuase I was a winger and worried of being fat etc and quick but am skinny fat Ight now. So I’m 5’6 ever since to 18 years as of now I’ve started eating more and milk two days ago. Do you think I could still grow or do you have any advice I workout a lot aswell
im 14 right now and ive always eaten a lot, im not slim, nor fat and i started weightlifting this year. This does wonders bro, im tallest out of my friends right now, and its going good
To grow height... 1.start bulking at teenage, eat more as much as possible, take a nutritious diet 2.start hitting a gym, start weight lifting, ignore myths like bearing weight could stop height 2.take a sleep at least 11-12 hours , take naps and deep sleeps, sleep earlier u can also read books at night to sleep 3.sunlight ... Thanks me later save your time.. ☄️
im 20 and 5ft 3, i dont think theres any hope for me but the only thing that is hopeful for me is that i developed very late with most stuff like puberty and my teeth so maybe ill have a late growth spurt but who knows lol
same, I fucked up my growth spurth by playing fucking 24/7 video games, never going outside, only sleeping 2/3 hours a day, eating not that much, not looking well after my health, barelly working out and stopped playing football to from my 14th. I'm 180cm now but I fucked up my genetics by it, I coulda been way taller ( I believe), when I was born I was also a bigger kid and docters told my parents that I had great potential of becoming very tall. But welp, messed that up, wish I found out about hamza earlier in my life I'm 17 now, 18 in 5 months. 180cm, wish I could be around 190
@@user-hi6vg4fz5j the same, played video games and just ate junk food till I was 22, I started to change my life and go to the gym 1 year ago, im 23 now and 179 cm. I feel like I could have grown 3-4 cm more but nothing I can do anymore , haha!
I was very short in my younger youth, from 5-13. The shortest in my class actually. I started participating in sports like swimming, football. Now I'm 17 and 180cm tall Like 5'10. Now i am the tallest guy in my class. Eventhough genetics paly a huge role in growth you can still grow 5cm - 10cm if you do the right things like eating right, sleeping right, exercising, weight lifting. I think i might grow 4cm more untill i reach my 20s.
thanks man I did a lot of research about growing taller and a lot of what i found was just too basic or too complicated (medical side of growing taller) and at 16 I found this vid its just straight forwards and easy to understand. I appreciate your work thank you.
I'm currently 16 years old, 5,5, 60kg. I will start Hamzas advice today, and will update in the comments section. if you're also around my age and watching this in the future, you can see if this is valid.
you probably got a better posture and of course bulking can make you a bit taller because you bulked. also people at 19 can still pick up an inch genetically if they're lucky, or you're just exaggerating your growth
As I'm 16 rn turning 17 in a few days, Bulking is one of the best things you can do to gain height, when I started bulking iknew I kick started my growth spurt once again, (an inch in a month) imagine just what you do if you just control your urges and diet, you'll just grow better than most of the people arround you.
Im also 16 and I turn 17 in a few weeks and I I've noticed that I haven't really grown this year. I've looked up things that can prevent me from growing but I haven't found anything. A year or two ago I grow 5cm and after that nothing happened. Btw I am 169cm now
I am 5’10 and around 120 KGs. I am 19 and ethnically Afghan. My father is around 5’10 and mother’s around 5’5/5’6. I’m content with the height I am right now but I’d want to be taller. At least grow into the 6ft range. The thing I have all my money on is that I have a large upper torso and short legs. Being obese, I think I still have time as I come from a family of late bloomers and think my weight has prevented my legs from growing. Currently working on losing this weight whilst simultaneously playing more sports to stimulate my growth hormone as well as getting as much sleep as possible. Pray for me lads.
excess fat= too much oestrogen. Which is what closes growth plates, this is why women are shorter than men. I made mistake of being obese during my puberty, I went from being 6ft by 14 to capping at 6ft 1 in 6 years.
@@themarathoncontinues4211 yr still tall broski. I’m suffering because I’m in that mid region of not being short but also not being tall. It’s a weird position.
@@hannankhan5589 you are right, I’m grateful I’m at least still on the taller side. But in life we always wonder for more, I truly think if I didn’t get fat I could’ve been 6’3-6’4 which is GOD height. I have a 6’4 friend who’s very average physique/looks, it’s ridiculously easy for him. Anyhow, you still have a chance to grow a little bit bro. In my family many of us normally grow at least 1 inch during university years, I’m hoping mine kicks in soon
@@themarathoncontinues4211 yes brodie, I’m hoping my legs grow. I’m working on losing thigh fat because I think due to the immense burden caused my weight, my legs haven’t grown. If they grow and create a balance between my torso and legs, I hope to very easily grow 1-2 inches which would suffice for me. I’m not tryna be some Greek Adonis but just being 6ft would work. I’d be content with my height.
This really leads to maximising your genetic potential. If you are like 5’4 , over 20 years old and have done all of this then it’s highly likely that you’ve reached your genetic potential for height.
Man Being 5'11 is a barrier, you are neither small nor tall, and I can assure you that most individuals with this height wish they were a couple of inches taller. Of course, I'm grateful to be 5'11 at 19 years old, but that's how I feel about it.
Yeap, i feel the same, being at 5'11 its like not too short because you are above average, but its not too tall. I just want a couple of inches more, thats all, i dont want to be a tree.
Great video. I did grow up in Holland, where as a UK person I was noticeably shorter than the 6'1 standard for Dutch people. When at 16 I was still quite short, and knew naturally I'd only hit the UK standard height of 5'7. With the last growth spurt in my late teens, I hit the vertical traction machines at the local gym constantly, which I am sure got me to the 6'0 I am today. Wish channels like yours Hamza were around back then, but I did make a lucky decision to do the stretching machines in the gym. How many UK males are stuck at 5'7, when they could have been 6'0 with the right training. Hope the word gets around about what you can do for your height...😢
Get your sleep and eat well, but in the end, you height does not matter when it comes to getting women. All you need is confidence and personality (coming from a 5’7 guy)
I’m 16 right now. Throughout most of my childhood I was seen as much bigger than my peers, but since I hit 14 I’ve been stuck at around 5’7/5’8 (I still get checkups every now and then and I usually get told I’m between 171cm and 173cm). The thing is, I’ve had facial hair since I was 13 and pubic hair a couple years before that. I’ve also always been told I look older than I actually am, which is cool and all, but I miss being considered ‘tall’. Nowadays at school I’m sort of made fun of for being ‘short’(most boys my age are between 5’10 and 6’1), and despite it being just jokes alongside the fact that 5’8 isn’t actually short at all in the real world, I still take it a bit personally. To put things more into context, my dad is 6 foot, by eldest brother is 6’2 1/2, the one after him is 6’4 1/2. My mum tho is 5’6 and my sister is 5’8. I’m the only male who isn’t 6ft or above and I wish I was. Heck, I’d even be comfortable being just 5’10/5’11. Hopefully I’m still growing, but for the reasons I stated earlier I don’t think that’s likely
Bro just do what Hamza told you, I'm 14 and 5'9 my father is 5'9 and my mother is 5'8 so I'm pretty confident that I will grow and you most likely will have a growth spurt later don't worry, As Hamza already said sleep is important, and eating
Your 16 calm down. You haven’t even hit your last growth spurt. You will be 6’1-6’2 when ur 19. Just sleep and eat now and you will grow. It’s very simple. If your up at night, that’s the worse thing a boy of your age can do.
Please read my comment bro, I also thought the same as you 3 years ago and now im 19. Facial hair and whatnot does not mean you "CANNOT" grow taller!!! You still can!!! People hit growth spurts much later in life too and honestly you are more likely then me or someone who's even older. Don't believe the lies you are told. Listen to Hamza, make the change NOW! I also had beard when I was 16, it doesnt mean your time is over bro, please, heed this advice before you have a lifetime of regrets.
@@shafaet1194 im 15 , ive got beard . I am 5'4 . Will i be able to grow taller ? Ive already had pubic hair and all that beard and moustache stuff and im kinda hopeless rn . Im exercising daily . What should i eat in a day to maximize my height ?
1:20 DO eat sugar, actually. It's very beneficial for the metabolism. It annoys me when people equate pure, white sugar - which is very easily metabolised and shouldn't be a problem to "cake" and "sugary bullshit". I put sugar in my daily milk - tastes great, and definietly has a pro-metabolic effect. Fruit is also sugar, and it's obviously good.
Hamza was always right on this bulking thing and trust me it works, you have to bulk atleast once in your 10-18 phase so your body can get grow to its best potential, i dirty bulked at 17 and my height really grew, im still short but i would have been worse if i didnt bulk
Ive done all of this since I was 13 and nothing changed. The doctors can also conclude that none of my growth plates are damaged nor do I have any hormone disorder if anything, my testosterone levels are through the roof yet, I have been the same height for 3 years and barely taller than my dad. I am aware that these factors can still significantly change your height as height is not entirely based on genetics but my case says otherwise. It is unfortunate.
i had a massive growth spurt when i was 18 it lasted 3weeks i was in agony my back was in so much pain but then the pain went away and i noticed something had changed i grew insanely tall.
@@veryryan9771 yeah i think late bloomer that and the fact that i was bullied everyday i was in highschool so i just didn't bother anymore i still have 0 experience while other guys and girls my age already have alot of experience so my chances are 0... :)
The sleep thing is really real and i think its most important from all of 4 steps along side with bulking up. example : At the start of 2020 i was around 146 cm then the quarantine hit and there wasnt school just homeworks and i had like 10 - 12 hours of sleep, home nutrition not some shit from school cantine. And at 2022 I was around 170 cm.
Allot of people say that it is just about sleep, diet and genetics. However i would LARGELY disagree, the amount of anabolic hormones that are relised during resistance training is insane, you not only increase baseline testosterone, HGH and IGF-1 levels in your body but you will start to increase a hormone known as CALCITONIN a very important hormone that triggers the absorbtion of calcium inside of the bones making them taller and more dense. Not to mention that you’ll need to keep your THYROID healthy, it is a gland that produces not only CALCITONIN but also other hormones like T4 which regulates the metabolism of the entire body keeping you from getting fat. To keep your thyroid healthy it is important to get enough iodine throw diet, air or supplements. Iodine is largely present in the air close to the sea or beaches, make sure to consume enough quality meat and fish + use iodized salt or if there is no opportunity just buy a supplement
I’ve always been a short person. 5’3 .4 months till age 15 and being the shortest in the whole grade hurts man, everyone just bullies you for being short. Imma try on these 4 aspects and hopefully grow. I’ll be back if there’s progress. Thankyou Hamza
yeah I'm also 5.4 and 15 but I am average tall guy in class 10pm to 7 am, Eat more ,weightlift if you don't have weightlifter use 2kg bottles spend time in sunlight😎
Lol same height. Nobody disrespects me in my grade for my height, and its likely because I'm 1.Bigger than most if not my whole grade muscle-wise 2.Stronger 3.Authentic 4.A leader in my group
Age: 26 🌱 I'm a girl.☀ before I started shiydf I was 165cm after 2 months and a half almost now 169cm!! IT REALLY WORKS I'M SO HAPPY. I achieved this result by both using shiydf and doing regular streching exercises and I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT.! TRUST THE PROCESS 🧡
i dont sleep on time (maybe about 6-8 hours), eat kinda bad and kinda good sometimes at 15 and 155cm/5'1. my parents are both short, my mum is 150cm/4'11and my dad claims to be 170cm/5'7 but is more like 165cm/5'5. I've always been short and my mum stopped growing at about 12 whereas my dad stopped growing at about 19 or 21. imma take hamza's advice and let u guys know my progress
same i dont sleep on time too same age as you my mum is 5'2 and my dad is 5'3 but im 5'9 currently though around 2020 and 2021 i used to sleep 8 - 10 hours daily i guess i grew because of that.
I'm 20 my dad was saying don't lift heavy you'll get shorter bla bla bla bla. I was 6'2 when i stared lifting and now standing at 6'3 and a quarter inches. I got taller more than an inch in less than a year. Same happened with my dad too, he was 21 when he went to army, served for 2 years in a high altitude place with lots of trees. For two years he had a proper diet, working out every single day, in nature. He claims that grew 3 inches there. Grandma and mom confirms that he grew 3 inches after his service at the age of 21. 5'8 to 5'11. Crazy
@@sergiomorales2087 Maybe the lifting and sleeping well wasn't the factor but it's worth trying. Some people keep growing after their age of 18. Guess i'm lucky.
@@itsdimitriymedvedyev there is absolutely nothing to lose, recently turned 21, im 5'9.5 (the 0.5 counts) im latino so its an average, slightly tall height, we'll see if this works.
I hit the height of 6ft at the age of 15 (for reference my dad is 6'7 and my mum is 5'11 I'm one of the shortest in my family) , I was in and out of hospital then and struggle with my physical health but I haven't grown at all since then and what was said does apply to me, I'll try implement some of these changes thank you hamza
Hey Hamza, Thank you a lot for those videos dedicated to the teenager, I started the self improvement journey at 13, and never had help for people my age, I'd like a lot more of those !!
