I do hand to hand Deliveries in Windhoek Namibia with electric Motorbike. I have 22 customers that hire my service. I do this from 2007 July and am close to my second million dollars. After watching video what hit me was how “rare” your “Company Culture” is. It is clear you operate with defined purpose, principles and values setting the foundation of your company’s culture and strategic implementation. Clearly your organization works on both individual/teamwork, guess what I would call “interdependence” on each other. You and your team are purpose driven, I admire/ respect that. Looking from outside your organization the potential problems I see are not directly your team members, but their lives outside of work. Your organization appears to share culture similar to the US Military, at least when I was in. While there were many good things about the US Navy, I didn’t make a career because of “petty things” and I found work shortly after I got out and actually did 30 years before I “retired”. If I was younger, had no purposes of my own that I am pursuing and no relationships complicating my life, becoming part of your organization would be an opportunity of a lifetime. I look forward to your videos everyday and when I start making my own, I will share with you, hopefully I will add value to your life and everyone else.

Oh dan this is amazing! I am one of those people that keep asking about working for You! I completely understand about culture, it’s like a vibe you get from certain people that you connect with and I think this is the same for when you work for people. And you hire worldwide! I am based in the U.K.- and great that you hire based on attitude. I also get the fact that you don’t just clock off at a certain time. I would be totally dedicated. I’ve seen people that say I don’t get paid enough to do that. I’ve always thought of it as learning more and developing myself. I mean you’re all about personal development and this is what I love. I love the fact that you don’t hire on a resume and you don’t like HR, Talent Aquisition is so much better. And I follow you on social media too 👍🏻 so far I am fitting in with everything you say. Great video. Two questions. When you talked about culture, are you referring to 'clan, adhocracy, market, and hierarchy'? People in an adhocracy culture may envy the power that a person in a hierarchy culture might have. People in a hierarchy culture may envy the freedom that a person in an adhocracy culture might have. Most people have only one dominant trait which enables them to fit into one type of culture. When an employee with different dominant trait joins a company which emphasizes culture, it can cause a disturbance. Making the rest of the employees in that company focusing on the 'privilege' the person has, without realizing the price he/she needs to pay. Is this the reason why even though a person has a right attitude, but still cannot be hired if she/he doesn't fit the culture? thank you, Dan, if you have time and want to answer my questions.

Dan your ideology and mindset towards business and success is one that i very much agree with even in martial arts i prioritize self growth before everything elss, i am still on the young side so i cannot add any value to your team at the age of 17 but i will say this that i am a ball of potential and i do wish to be able to call you sifu some day and till then i will hone my skills, i too never agreed in grades and degrees being what you need to get a job but the skills and articulacy required to manipulate factors around you to get what you want out of life. so i will work my way up to grow and use your videos to teach myself so some day i can join your team, because your team's culture and mentality is the dream team i want to join. hopefully we will talk further into this in the future when i'm ready. thank you for making these videos, they really do help shape the kind of person i want to become.

Hello Dan. I am really inspired of your work and the entire thing you build up. You are the one who showed me that making money should be my goal. There is only one problem (that is not even really a problem): i am only 15 years old. In other videos you say that you need money to start, but in Austria there are only little chances to work. That’s my problem! I only got one live and you told me to start living my dreams now, but how can i if i have neither a jod, nor the money to build something up myself

Servus. Ich bin aus Hamburg und selbst nur 19 aber da dein Kommentar ist, dachte ich, ich antworte mal: manche sagen, mit einer Idee und Leidenschaft kommt das. Was ich mir gemerkt hab ist folgendes: Geld macht der, der die Probleme von Menschen löst. Eventuell durch problemorientierte Innovationen oder Menschen wissen vorher gar nichts von ihren Problemen wie vor dem ersten iPhone, Computer oder Facebook. Aber danach geht nicht mehr ohne. Dass man Geld braucht, um anzufangen für ein eigenes Unternehmen stimmt wohl aber erstmal im jungem Alter würd ich sagen KANN man mit nem Nebenjob etwas dazuverdienen aber Schule und Selbststudium sind eine Investition in deine persönliche Zukunft. Wems liegt auch n Studium um sich in Wirtschaft weiterzubilden und zu vernetzen. Wenn du erstmal in einer Branche arbeitest, die dich interessiert und etwas dazu lernst, was du bemängelst, wie man es besser machen könnte, Schadet das auch nicht. Vielleicht kommt dann erst die zündende Idee. Nicht jeder muss mit 28 ausgesorgt haben :D Also kein Stress, wenn du noch kein Geld hast :) Naja.. ^^ Schönes Restschuljahr noch und lies doch z. B. Die Bücher die er regelmäßig empfiehlt, wie how to make friends and influence people.

Do you think that money just a side product of what you get, or it is the point you work? Sifu, I’m curious as to how do you judge someone’s attitude in an interview? Did you create some sort of a test or you could find out just by having regular conversation? Coz I believe ‘attitude’ really depends on the company’s culture. Thanks. :)

That is a good idea to have an A-team, but having strict rules to keep it Elite is even better and keeping an balanced attitude and relations 95% involving pure business can lead to a big success over a long period of time. Objectivity. Family style indeed makes the atmosphere more familiar and comfortable, but job is job. TO me family is family and job is job, when I go to work I forget about everything and focus on the job get done. Also, I never do something that is not written in the post sheet out of principle, if I can;t get fair money, I don't get them at all. Either we do how it should' be done or quit.
