Pretty sure passive exp for non-active party members is provided by recruiting the Stadler character from Impershi'arc. He mentions about it in is his dialog how he'll "train yours troops" while you're away. It's not just honeyed words in his case. You can also do a limited number of mock battle scenarios with him for some items. Make sure to swap a low level character in each time to make the most of the passive exp earned for benched characters.
Experience is also cut by the number of participants at the start of a fight. So if you wanna fast level one character, give them the growth badge and let them fight solo against a group of enemies, which they barely one-shot one after another with the basic attack. This is for example needed to level up Nowa if you wanna win all the duels.
At around level 12-15 when you get your headquarters, the place durectly down the road from it, I forget the name, but it has guards blocking both paths... the eastern guard you can walk next to into the invisible barrier and just run up and down the little barrier to get into fights with level 33ish enemies... it takes like 4 battles to get people from level 12 to 33 there... everytime I unlock 3 new people (just unlocked Carrie in my progression for reference) I use 3 strong people and powelevel 3 on the backline there... the mobs you fight can't hit backline so they are 100% safe and I have 46 characters at 35+ which lets me try out people for team comps without being underpowered xD Good early game grind which gets you about 18 levels over the enemies in your area making the game a breeze for a while
Tip for easy endless mysterious room Step 1 have leene and dijkstra in your party Step 2 set leene's battle plan to don't use mp and all 4 actions to be physical skill attack Step 3 set dijkstra's battle plan to defense and all 4 actions to buff allies Just auto and enjoy, I suggest training 4 mages and 4 physical attackers that you can rotate since you have to change party members every floor and take rohan as your support a literal life saver! Equip lucky or super lucky badge to get items since your not allowed to bring items anymore
You can do the exp glitch boost to lvl 99 in the last area with the ring that you can find in that castle!! like in suikoden 2!! But the character has to be less than lvl 50
Hi i am experiencing a bug on the endless mode i made it to level 78 and then died so I thought there will be rewards for every full cycle after 26 but i still get the "congratulations for finishing 26 floors" even thought i finished until 77 are you experiencing this?
I don’t know if that’s the reason or not, but I had all of my characters [not just the ones in the active party] level up a lot after I did a boss rush underground. Like, my party characters were at lvl 43, now they’re 54; while the characters not in the party were around lvl 34, now most of them are lvl 40. Again, I don’t know if that’s the reason, but I thought it was weird. Also, kind of a bummer, because I actually enjoy grinding everyone; it makes me get to know all of them better.
I dont know if this method has been patched but i jist did this with nowa at level 45(everyone else died) and he reached lvl 99 due to being sole survivor but after i finished the challenge, he returned to real world back at level 45
