I’m trying to get back to where I was after a long hiatus from Disc Golf, but I will never forget and always be proud that my picture was right next to yours on the Discraft website way back in day like 2010 when we first got picked up. You have inspired a whole generation of disc golfers and I feel like you don’t get enough credit.
Toughest part of bagging discraft is the putters. Other companies find a good putter plastic blend and make it stock (trilogy/innova/mvp). Discraft makes a good putter blend and its a single run special edition thats $20+/disc for base plastic. great to see you throwing again paige i hope you have a great year.
This is why I reverted back to a Wizard. You literally can’t go wrong and they are NEVER out of stock. Plus who doesn’t love a point and shoot putter? 😊
You’re so spot on and it’s wonderful to watch a true natural professional give great advice while doing what she/he does best…!!! Hope you’re healing up fast and well. Great luck this season..!!!
A couple of years ago, I found a jawbreaker in a shop. Was completely amazed, even though all of me friends said, „what about it“. During the pandemic I saw a vid of pp saying, that she threw the jawbreaker so far, but is now convinced of the fierce. Which made me think, yet, it may have been a simple marketing-trick of Paige. A couple of weeks later, I found a fierce, contacted the owner, to give it back, and also asked, whether I could test it. She said „of course“. To cut it short, „I threw, I was convinced, I bought“. (Three Fierces, to be honest) For a number of years right now, when it comes to putters, I throw nothing but me fierces, and I can‘t wait to test this mould. Thanks Paige! And get better soonish, dear!
Nice to see you putting some discs! We all missed you very much. How about an episode on mental game, how you stay focused, how to stay commited etc. Anyway, have a wonderful recovery and we are looking forward to seeing you next season shredding the courses!
Once I learned/practiced my putting to where I could make 30footers with ease my game changed 10strokes, getting a consistent regiment kinda like a “free throw” also helped my consistency a ton. Practice, practice, practice putting, drive for show putt for dough por vida…. Thanks for sharing such wisdom, knowledge and insight to the game, good luck in your continued recovery ❤️🩹
You've reminded me how much I need to practice awkward/obstructed putts. Give me a normal stance and C2 is a gimme. One tiny little twig, rock, tree, bump... I'm missing 5 footers. And for a video I'd love to see one on how you drive with the Fierce. After watching you last season I've been working on it. Always amazed how far pros can throw a putter. Things I've noticed is you need enough height, the perfect release angle, and a LOT more spin on the disc.
Isn’t it crazy how a little pebble or root can cause so many errors? I would LOVE to do a video on how I throw my Fierces- it’s one of my favorite shots!
Thanks Paige, hopefully by the start of the season your ankle will be less painful and have more mobility. Could you do a video on your approach to up shots please. Merry Christmas. God bless
Managed to watch the whole video, sry pp no offense its just where were at today. I love this content it’s wholesome relatable and inspiring. There’s so many bulletins that I lose direction on sharing.first off you are amazing to overcome injuries and stay competitive, there are so many disc golfers who have overcome so much. Ive met incredible people and this (sport) family always rise above speciation. Passion sets us apart. We follow the code and leave the course clean.
Loved this video! The flight of your putt is looking as good as ever, love to see all the different ways you practice, it was great hearing your thoughts behind the practice, and your yard is gorgeous! Would really like more videos of you just doing anything, like playing rounds at different courses, and chatting some more. Can't wait to see you on tour again!
Absolutely love this video! You've got a fantastic backyard for putting. I resonate with your issues leaning into the foot. I blew my knee out last year (have torn the same one multiple times) and really struggling to fully trust leaning into it. It's my brace leg too. Taking me a long time but the fear of reinjury is very strong. Best of luck Paige!
I understand some of what you are going through, I did not break a bone but I pulled a tendon in my left foot and it is severely painful. It would be best for me to stay off it for a few weeks but I just can't. I have to walk anywhere between 2 and 5 miles a day for my job and that puts a strain on it and I still play tournaments almost every weekend. I just grin and bare it. But it has changed some things in my game for sure. Good luck to you and get well soon.
My daughter and I watch together - love your latest content! She would like to know if you could make a video on how to make/practice longer putts from mid circle 2
@@paigepiercediscgolf after seeing your putt practice, I just shot my best score on Blue Angel Pine, six down and made three putts today from Circle 2. My best putting ever.
Thanks so much for sharing. I've been thinking about you from time to time and wondering how you're doing. I'm thrilled to see you doing what you love again. Can't wait to see you back on the course!
Too cool. I enjoyed the tips on form and angles. Some of us newer older golfers have mobility issues. I don't jump putt well. Your tips and styles have opened more options for me. BTW my olnyace is with a fierce . Staple in my bag. Great for standstill throwing in the woods
You have the most unusual putting routine with you holding the disc with both hands above your head, flicking or tapping it free with the left and then sending it towards the basket. Kind of like someone who does something out of superstition for luck. I don't know. I've only been playing disc golf for 3 months with my buddies but I keep watching different videos of people doing stuff and then trying them myself to try and improve. I may have to give that a try and see whats up. Thanks for the content. Pro disc golfers seem to be some of the most friendliest I've ever seen in video content and you're no different.
I am currently waiting (not so patiently) on tennis elbow recovery. I suck at putting but it is all I can do right now... This video made me think. maybe its a good chance to get a bit better at putting. Also, I'm stoked to watch you fight your way back! Go Paige!
I just switched to Fierce putters. I was putting with the Focus but I really like the straight flight and glide. The Fierce just seems to stay in the air longer with less effort. Of course I have a couple of throwers too. Thank you for making such a great disc for all skill levels!!!
Very glad to see you practicing. Good to see your ankle doing better, hoping to see you come back with a vengeance and give Tattar a challenge since no other woman for now is coming close. 💪💪
Injuries, health issues are common among athletes, yes disc golf is an athletic event sport.. Johne came back after Lyme disease and last years heart attack.. anything is worth the journey .. practice & heal Paige, see ya on the course.. Welcome to Florida 🥏⛓️
Ur amazing Paige! I never got to go to a physical therapist after my injury. What is the best exercise they gave you to help with your recovery? Merry Christmas to you and your family!
My favorite is Mach X, but that's because it catches everything so it's not the best to learn on. I like to have a variety to practice on because you never know which course is going to have which basket.
@3:39 Wow, almost looked like you stopped for a second to meanmug your disc there! Anyways its good to see you back at practice with some positive energy shining through. I noticed the difference in wristpop vs legpush compared to your old style before you even mentioned it. I personally prefer more of your older "push" with that back foot but I'm totally on board with that you need to work with what you've got. As usual the form is crisp and this slight change actually makes you a better example to use in teaching because it makes it easier to point to the things that stay the same. (such as staying balanced well within the limits of your stance and having no unnecessary sideways motion anywhere)
Paige, I swear that you called your new disc a "Squirrel" at the start of the video. I was so excited that I went to look for one on your website. I think that is a great name for a disc. Then I found out you said swirl. The pattern on your fierce disc is actually called a burst, is it not?
The disc I would like to get, is one with your teeth marks. I like to embellish and would show my friends that disc and say that you had thrown that disc, and it went through the chains, hit a tree , then came back through the chains and fell on the ground. Which of course made you very frustrated, which made you bite the disc in your left hand. Seriously, I hope you come back as good as ever. Good luck.
I don’t normally count the number of putts I’d throw but usually give myself a certain amount of time (30 mins / an hour). So I can focus on the putting and not the counting 😉
She will forever use her injury for excuses in the future, next thing will be allowing her to use a driving golf cart 😮she has not only the injury to overcome but seriously stiff competition 💪 😅 🙄
