1st crank 2nd tensioner 3rd water pump 4th exhaust cam 5th intake cam. Best way for me and what Honda has as their steps.

I build a b20z with b16 itr head b20 water bump b18b belt I try with 2 belt and same problem I line up cams and crank pulley it's off for like half tooth and the distributor have to be all the way to firewall so the pulley can line up with timing light the car feels good but how I can fix this do u think with cams gear I can fix it to line up better any recommendation? Thanks

I followed your video step by step...got everything on even pulled on the spring/tensioner. Belt moved from the center of the cams to the edge...ive got skunk 2 cams and skunk 2 adjustable cam gears. Is that normal? Car seems to be running fine and belt is not loose. I'm stumped lol

@Huntertuned - I recently put my b16 together, realized I timed it using the red mark and not the white. Didn’t realized until I was burping my. Antifreeze (coughing out my af). So I realized and put it away and didn’t get back to it till a week later. I took it apart and went to time it correctly and it was timed at the white mark perfectly. How is this possible? Normal? Did my ecu compensate ? Should I take off the belt and rotate it and re time?

Hey great video but I do have a question about adjustable cam gears, do you ever adjust the during your tune process..?? Or is that done when you are tuning the V-tec ACTION???

So if you checked the crank pulley last, and now you didn’t see a woodruff key to lock it in place, did you forget to reinstall it last time?

Perfect video ur the man dood my timing belt lost alot of teeth the other night threw on a new belt, tensioner and water pump it an fired right up just hope I don't have it a tooth out or shitty belt tension (too tight or loose)
