How I Treated Logan Roy's INFECTED Cat Bite Wound 🙀 

Logan Roy came to Kitten School covered with fight scars and a tough-guy attitude to match, but even this gangster cat was no match for the gaping, oozing wound he had from a badly infected cat bite!

OMWord...that wound is awful...poor kitty, lice, ringworm and an ear infection too!!! ...he won the lottery when YOU decided to help him...God bless you, this is love in action.

OMG, that wound really looked horrible! Thank you so much for your great help. He knows, what you do for him. It won't be easy to find adopters for him, because he is FIV positive. I keep my fingers crossed, that a loving forever home will be found for him, though he was used to living in the streets. I hope, he won't be in a fighting mode any more, when he is neutered and gets regular care and attention.

After my large feral tom got neutered he lost his big cheek pads but his 'big old softy' personality came to the forefront. Logan Roy is a cool cat.

Wow how good it healed, thanks to your caring & patience with Logan boy!

Today I saw a video on Flatbush Cats in which there was a scene of a black stray kitty on the streets of Brooklyn with what appeared to be an identical neck wound to what Logan Roy had when you took him in. It was very sad. I don't know if that cat will get the care he so desperately needs. Logan has apparently had a hard life but is now one of the lucky ones!

Poor old baby

I was afraid Logan-Roy might be FIV positive. He probably contracted the disease with the neck wound. As always, you're doing a great job on rehab with this cat. Please keep us posted as to his progress. For what it's worth, our stray cat was a "lsher-outer" when we first started petting him, but he's a totally socialized, huge baby now, gentle as a lamb. It didn't take too long to bring him around.

Hi Caroline, Are you sure that was a Peta sponsored video? It didn't seem hostile or offensive enough to be a genuine PETA production. Really, PETA goes way too far. They've said that the domestication of Dogs and Cats was a big mistake and that the Human Bond between Dogs and Cats that took thousands of years to establish was like a Bad Marriage that should never have taken place. And even if they THINK they are right, well, why announce such an opinion except to make enemies of Pet Owners, and they have. Yeah, PETA only tolerates Pet Owners, the one time where they find they need to mitigate their crazy extremism, but why would any Pet Owner ever donate money to an Organization that merely tolerates them? Also, their position against Cat and Dog Breeders. The Pedigree Dog and Cat Markets are very high end. I could never afford a Show Cat. If every Pedigree Pet vanished from the face of the earth there would still be a huge problem with unwanted pets. The slight numbers of Pedigrees that disappear from the Market would go unnoticed. Again, it is PETA making Enemies simply out of concerns for Extremist Ideological Consistency. Dog and Cat Breeders might have been HUGE Supporters for any sensible Humane Society. And cat breeder perform a hugely important service, by establishing Breeds and Bloodlines that can be tracked for their Health and Temperament. Both Cats and Dogs are being made BETTER. That's GREAT, isn't it? and, well, PETA's extremism is to be expected. They did some Psychological Study where they interviewed individuals going into a group meeting to determine what their beliefs were BEFORE, then they went into a Meeting to arrive at a Group Consensus. Well, the Researchers had the Intuition that People would MEET IN THE MIDDLE, but they DON'T! Usually the raw consensus of the Group, when first straw polls are in or whatever, is off center and biased in on direction, BUT THEN as discussion goes on and the Leaders establish their positions, it is NATURAL to ARGUE from the EXTREMES where the Answers are all Simple and Easy and no Thinking needs to be done.... Group Consensuses are nearly always Extreme and Uncompromising. The Researches would find that NOBODY going in believes as radically as what the Group Consensus declares to be EVERYBODY'S opinion going out. That sounds like PETA, a group that came up with a totally ARTIFICIAL Ideology that NOBODY would actually believe in if left by themselves. I hate the idea, that as a Pet Owner, some people might assume I'm automatically sympathetic to PETA. PETA embarrasses us all. But, now to comment on LOGAN ROY.... yeah, from my experience with my Feral Cat Feeding Stations, I've found that the Old Fighting Toms actually become quite gentle once they are shown attention, and some even loose their shyness. It is difficult to know how old they are. The Battle Scares and Street Dirt must make them seem far older than they actually are. So, yes, Logan Roy may turn out to be a nice House Cat for somebody.

The only way I can feel sorry for Logan Roy is if he is a kitty!!!!! Hugs & Love to you Kitty Logan Roy😻
