@@MemphisMike901 Nope! They were all just as they should be. Back in my youth I worked in a motorcycle shop. Back when points, and condensers were still used. Few bike used shims back then. Since then I got a V-strom 1000 so I have had some practice. The tools for the GL loosening the cam change tensioner I made. I have a metal lathe, and mill. Saved a lot of money over buying them. The right cam chain tensioner is a real bear to access with the ABS brakes. There is also a hose in the way that make it a real bugger to get to. I check the clearance with tension on, and off. It made no difference. I don't think it is necessary to release tension unless you have to pull a cam to install new shims. Others on forums have said they found the same thing. The trick to viewing the timing marks is to use a plumbers mirror, and a flash light. No way to get ones head in there to see them other wise. It was easy other than the tensioner issue. The only shop I trust here in Arizona is in Tempe, and it is a lot of nasty city driving and a 100+ miles to get there. Would have to leave the bike, and drive back to get it. A lot of hassle, and cost. If I had a shop I trusted close by I would just let them do it.

LOL...yep...most of it was on their when purchased in 2014. I did change out my kuryakyn floorboards to Rivco's tho!

I haven't seen S100 in a long time around here. Sometimes I will use Bike Brite, but it still needs a little bit of scrubbing and REALLY has to be rinsed well!

I have a Pitbull lift for that! I use turtle wax Hybrid solutions ceramic spray wax. I think i did a vid on it.

Sounds like a great trip. Yep, honestly I enjoy cleaning my Bikes and ALL our vehicles. I love running the Pressure Washer!

LOL....most of the time when i drag out the Pressure Washer, I'm gonna wash at least one car as well....Mine stays on deck ready to go it seems like it.... My CB1100 i usually will hit it with the Back pack blower, and sometimes also the Wing!

I simply replaced the Long Handle which you normally see, with a new handle...it is hooked up with Quick Connect...makes life a whole lot easier when washing, as you can see! Hi Mike, on motorcycles there are just to many seals and small thin gaskets and areas that high pressure is just not good. On a fine machine like your wing you just don’t need it.

Bob Jones I’ve heard that too,for the same reasons you mentioned, but at a very low setting, a pressure washer is probably no worse than a garden hose.

Yeah. Believe it or not I cut my own grass with a lawnmower and use a weed eater and blower that makes a lot of noise too.

I call BS. Stay off the dash and seals and you are fine IF you k ow what you are doing...which i do!
