I have been taking singing seriously for 4 years now and most people don’t understand the voice is something you sculpt and shape over time with a lot of patience and hard work. The first thing you do is feel and get familiarized with the sensations of your voice in different registers and resonators, then you have to be able to access the different resonators on demand and finally you shape the sound. When I started grasping chest voice it was overwhelming because the feeling was new, now I can make it dense or light.

I think it's interesting how you talk about the feel of the techniques in many ways, not just the sound. I'm a voice actor, and I notice that the characters, different voices I do come about not from the sound of it, but rather how one physicalizes through the body. With practice, there is just a feel to it when you do it right, and you know. If you do it wrong, and you are paying attention to what is going on inside you, you know.
@BecomingANaturalSinger
@BecomingANaturalSinger 6 лет назад
This is great, yes very much so you have to feel the coordination related to the sound, then the sound will take care of itself. To many singers go for the sound rather than the feeling.

Took me months to even find a shitty falsetto. It’s harder than he makes it seems for me. But that’s the operative phrase: “for me”. It’s subjective. It’s cool if you you don’t have the same problems others do, but some people really struggle on this.

The reason why your strain is because you have to drop your jaw properly and drop it a little narrow so it can create much air coming to your voice all singer did this to prevent it from straining their voice Hope this help ( I'm not sure ok I just hear this guide from the other coach on RU-vid)

Your video is informative and clear, but it didn’t helped me anyway. I don’t know, maybe it’s just something wrong with my cords. Like, physically wrong. It seems like it’s impossible to sing with head voice, like there’s no range at all, just nothing, emptiness. Though I tried to do it relaxed and so on. There’s a strange thing, sometimes I can sing with head voice when my throat is ill a bit, but it’s weird. Anyway, thank you for this video. I’ll try to find some other tips, I shall nail it one day for sure

As high as your speaking voice can get that's how high your singing voice can get, just make it sound pretty when you sing, you can start off by speaking in a high pitch voice, then once you reach that highest point start to make it sound like you're singing and not still talking.
