Best example of Boston just having better contributors: Al Horford (30 in Game 5), Grant Williams (27 in Game 7). If Giannis just had someone explode offensively in the last 2 games they would've probably won it.
Correct they needed Middleton! The heat will be a real test for Boston. They were playing Brooklyn who spent most of the season without chemistry and stable line up. They faced Milwaukee without an All star player. The heat will be the first team they are going to face which wouldn't have any excuse.

The reason why a guy like Tatum is able to get help from other players is because Tatum is skilled enough to play in an offense without having the ball in his hand every play. Giannis is just not effective without running down hill with the ball in his hands which means the other guys won’t get in a rhythm to contribute. If the role players can only touch the ball when it’s time to shoot then how do you expect them to play to their potential? These analyst don’t ever bring that up.
