I agree! It is how I was taught. Sometimes two or three it depends on the weather or my situation. Has to be cotton or have a cotton seat and not be tight.
Also you can chafe from not changing your underwear frequently from sweating and you remain in that same underwear right through the day. This can lead to breaking out of sores and bacteria.
I think we should always change our underwear everyday. Makes me feel much cleaner and sanitary. There are times when I change twice daily depending if I’ve been working in my garden.
Doc, much respect for you changing your panties daily. I change my draws daily as many times necessary as the situation dictates, and without contemplating. For me that goes with T-shirts as an undergarment as well for socks depending on the time of year and the activity involved.
I'm a firm believer of cleanliness and changing my underwear daily. I also use panty liners that helps as well. My mother believed in keeping not only our personal hygiene up to par but our entire body!! Same with my 2 brothers! They were taught that as well. Especially, how to clean their butt after a bow movement. There's nothing more disgusting to know that some men have streaks in their underwear because they don't wash properly! It's disgusting whether you're a man or woman! People sitting on your furniture with their vagina or butt smelling because their hygiene is not up to par.
I cant even think this is a topic for discussion. I grew up in the Caribean at least twice per day. Wear clean one in the morning after you shower and clean one before going to bed.... living in North American since 10 yrs old i still shower twice daily.
You made a good point about twice a day. for me I stick with once a day at night I don’t sleep either underwear on, as my doctor advice that it’s helpful to allow the bottom area to naturally air at night by not wearing underwear & occasionally I will go commando when wearing a dress that won’t revel that I am not wearing any.
@@Rudylee51 I completely understand, I myself don’t have any infection. In my younger days I will admit that I had yeast infections, once I learned the proper technique to cleanse down there. It has worked. No perfume of anything, no douce, cotton underwear, limit my tight pants and panties. Combination of showers and sitting in warm water with baking soda to help with the ph balance. It worked for me not necessarily everyone and as I got older I more comfortable not wearing panties while at home not just at bedtime.
It depends on your situation if you have your menstrual cycle, you will want to change your underwear more often. When it’s summer time and it’s hot , I live in Texas it’s hot and humid and if you get sweaty I have to change my underwear. I was raised to change my underwear at least 3 times because I’m originally from the Caribbean and chileeeeee😂it was hot growing up in the islands you could take a shower and after about and hour you already sweating again 😂😂😂😂
OhEmGee! Change all clothes daily! What is even the question!? Even if I wear my jeans a second time, I do change to fresh clean underwear! That’s only common sense! And eeeewh, after a shower, why would you ever put the same underwear back on afterwards!
Women do it all the time. I see women working out & don’t even change out their workout clothes and you see them in the community later in the day still wearing that same outfit.
I grew up with underwear with the days of the week on it. I changed everyday. I will wear underwear for a few hours during the day, then at night I will wear no underwear. I can’t wear the same underwear that I put on in the morning then wear that same pair to bed. I’m either wearing none at night or changing my underwear.
Every Day . I was raised that way from when I was a lil girl to change my underwear (every Day ) So No infections, my grandma used to say you never know what can happen God forbid you can get in the car accident or anything always have clean underwear on 🙏💯 P.S . Always cotton underwears to this day 💯

I like to change me underwear everyday for freshness, sanitary and healthy reasons. Everything she said was scientifically true. Genitals need fresh air to breath in my opinion!!!
I'm with you, once a day. However, it maybe more for me because I have major back problems and when I'm in pain, I don't feel when I have to go to the bathroom
Cotton is best, and minimum is twice a day. First thing I the morning, and when I get ready for bed at night. More if I have a problem of some sort. I can't imagine only once a day. Even when I travel, I MUST have enough underpants. I think I was taught that. And if it smells, it needs to be changed.
I agree, depending on the situation. My mom always taught me to wear pantiliners as well. Ladies, they do sell disposable underwear on Amazon . And it’s OK to be free sometimes. Lol🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Dr.Jeh.I take a Shower in the morning and Evening and i change my under and wash out the soil one under running water with liquid Detergent.I prefer to wear Haynes or Victoria Secret in Cotton,I like to have a lot of clean under.I just buy 7 Victoria Secret over the weekend,My Daughter buy herself some too they were at a Sale price.
Ohhhh by the way Dr Jen since I've got past menopause I can use but baby wash down there Other soaps irritate me Ive tried body washes that were mild I'm so glad I found out baby washes work for me And I get them from dollar tree
I am also without a period and experience dryness due to hormones from menopause/menopausal. To help that I pour small amounts of baby oil or vitamins oil into the disposable wipes. It really helps with the dryness.
Two Should be worn A day and One for the daytime One for the nightime Minimum 14 pairs for the week. The same for socks and vests Should wash before you go to bed and when you get up, body sweats all the time. Not good to wear day time wear in bed as bacteria breeds in a bed.
I,m 80 years old and was taught from a child to change my underwear everyday, i also wear panty liners everyday to stay fresh without oder, any adult should know this , it,s common sense.
I shower/change underwear "Drawers", lol, twice a day....morning after waking.....night before bed. 3 times a day during the summer with outdoor activities. If anybody is out here wearing their underwear until that underwear can stand up on its own in the corner of a room.... go find a cliff to slip and fall off of.....
No Matter what the Season is Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall I change my underwear at least twice a day sometimes even 3 times a day but once a day is by far the Bare minimum requirement to feel good.
Didnt know that this wasnt the normal. I'd think this would apply more to wearing the same pants multiple days, not underwear. Not saying I havent done it, but I knew i was gross for doing so.
Those who do not change their underwear are probably some of the same ones who don't bathe before leaving home. Some only bathe the night before. Some only bathe on Saturday night, and then only wash under their arms and down there during the rest of the week. A certain culture in America continues spreading the myth that bathing before one goes out is the cause of bad colds and pneumonia That is why they get upset when guests shower once and twice a day. They know who they are.
You should change your underwear every day so buy a bunch of underwear so you can do that but sometimes you might end up wearing the same underwear two days in a row, but you will know that when you do😅
I DO COTTON. UNDER GARMENTS IN THE WINTER AND SATIN OR POLYESTER IN THE SPRING/SUMMER I DO NOT HAVE A DISCHARGE AFTER LOVE MAKING I WOULD SHOWER ABD PUT ON CLEAN UNDIES😅😅
