Oh boy, i tell ya. Wheni tried to fly my drone for the first time.. Since i live in an urban area with lots of high building, my rc disconnected and worried af since it took me 5 month to save for that drone, i thought Id lost it then RTH did its work and was so extremely happy. Lmao

My Mini SE controller failed in flight causing a full left high speed spin/yaw. I thought I was going to lose the drone with no way to control it. I decided to turn off the controller and the aircraft settled down ,flew back and landed right next to me! I was disappointed the DJI 2 year care refresh would not cover the controller and it was cheaper to get a new one on eBay then pay them to repair it.

So was the controller actually faulty or was it just a glitch. DJI are well known for being very good on their warranties, even without refresh

@@Shooting_the_Breeze It was the controller that failed. The warranty period was over but my care refresh was still active. I called them and they said to send it in for an estimate. Only the drone is under care refresh. Would have been $60 for an estimate plus shipping and repair costs. Bought a new controller for $39 on eBay instead.

I just bought one of these as my first real drones and i have been a little too chicken shit to try out the RTH looks like it works pretty well.

Hi Baruch. Many thanks for your comment. I’m not sure I understand your question 100%, what do you mean by return to a single shot from Automatic mode ?

Hehehe I agree a landing pad would be nice. However this was just a demo as to how RTH works, bringing it back to you. I was thinking about getting a pad though for when you are in rough ground.
