Charles Thomas Wooldridge was a Trooper with the Royal Horse Guards, and a very jealous man. Living away from his wife would constantly accuse her of having affairs. Despite her denials and lack of any proof his anger got the better of him leading him to murder.
He was then imprisoned at Reading prison where he was eventually hanged.
