Question the final measurements will determine the length that you're trying to achieve prior to checking the inner bore length

Something not right with this video…..push rod on my booster is about 2inch into the booster….you doing this measurement with booster on bench ….my booster on bench has push rod about 2 inches inside the booster…how do you measure this?….I have seen the H shape tool,but it doesn’t fit my master cylinder…shaft too long…any other suggestions….I realize this is an old video…..

Thanks for the comment! There are specialty tools to measure the pushrod the length. I've always defaulted to method shown in the video because my dial caliper is readily available. It's one of my most used tools. The pushrod depth in the booster doesn't matter. Just follow the instructions in the video and you'll be good to go. -Landan

How much will it be from the back of the break booster to the tip push rod measuring with a tape measure I planning to order the break booster that's what I need I bought the 5 lug conversion even master cylinder just I need to buy the break booster need help lmr to take out my pony

Luis - Follow the steps shown in this video to properly measure the push rod length. Every component and car will have slightly different measurements. -Landan
