It's the Prowler! I was also confused at first because you definitely don't drive a Ford Raptor. Great video. Good point about how clean the vehicles are in other videos. You didn't want to just put vice grips on the threads? Lol.
So why did you go that high in pressure? My instructions says 8-10psi fwi but i just started having starvation issues ( assuming here ) so I'm looking at a way to add a pressure gauge in the outlet side to monitor the pressure. I'm also going to drop my pump and inspect the inlet screen filter thing. My application is a duramax but the pump is the same and I have tons of room around my pump to remove or adjust the pressure ;)
How much roughly did you run the screw to adjust pressure? Like are we talking multiple turns or just tiny amounts? I don’t have a gauge and don’t wanna turn it too much
@@hogie1685 we go up to Bobcaygeon, Ontario every Summer, except during Covid. Maybe I’ll see you buzz past me on the 407 while I’m towing my pontoon!🤓
Whoaaaaa!!!! What! Try it with the truck off then. Look at your gauge with the key on and adjust it. Yes it should be turned towards the plus to increase pressure.
How about the real fix is to not install the pump in a tight area. Think about adjusting or servicing components prior to mounting. You need to relocate the pump in a more accessible area.
Ok i just bought my wife her new raptor 100 and just wanted to make sure it had 20psi starting out my ppump i have 80psi pf fuel pressure going into pump with comp spring in fuel pump and after market overflow valve and it made a world difference
