This 5-Minute Wheel Pose tutorial lead by Jacquelyn Umof is for intermediate yogis looking to further build and strengthen their Wheel Pose practice. Jacquelyn offers her tips and modifications for safely and strongly getting in and out of a range of wheel variation poses, such as one-legged wheel and drop backs. Heart-opening inversions are great for improving upper back and spinal flexibility, strengthening the buttocks, inner thighs, quads and hamstrings and will leave you feeling invigorated and refreshed.
You will need a yoga block and a stable wall.

The last wheel pose modification where Jacky is using the wall to get in and out the pose... is it suitable/safe for people trying practice this pose for the 1st time?

Yes. I used to do this when I first started but try going down gradually and don't try to touch the ground all at once

That is Urdhva Dhanurasana (upward facing bow) not Chakrasana (wheel pose). Wheel pose is when your hands touch your feet in a backbend.

In Hatha Tradition Chakrasana is what in Ashtanga Style is called Urdva Dhanurasana, moreover in Hatha the bow pose is simply called Dhanurasana. (Cfr, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, S. Mukibodhananda)
