• AutoEdits: How I Found...
If your vehicle has been parked for several days or weeks, use the Wide Open Throttle (WOT) technique shown in this video to circulate engine oil BEFORE you start the vehicle and save unnecessary wear on important engine components.
I'll show you how to use the WOT technique and give a quick demonstration of just how much oil is distributed throughout the engine before and after the startup.
Also in this video I remind you about proper battery maintenance and how I periodically put an Optima Digital charger on for a "conditioning" on all my batteries to keep them happy and last for years. Losing such a family member can never be easy. I still haven't gotten over my li'l Buddy when he passed at 15 years of age. That was 15 years ago, too. I don't think that people who have never had a dog, or cat, in their life will ever understand why we call them FAMILY MEMBERS rather than pets. A little over a year ago my Pitbull mix Eva had to be put down, she had cancer in her bladder. I am rapidly approaching my 59th birthday, and I have had at least one dog in my life for at least 90% of my life. When I put Eva down, as with every other dog I have had since I was in my teens, I stayed with her when the time came. I cradled her in my arms and cried like a little baby for what seemed like an eternity. In fact, I'm getting a little choked up typing this. Showing your emotions shows us how much you really did love Pinto. I completely understand the level of heartbreak you are feeling with the passing of Pinto, and am sending my prayers and condolences to you. When the time is right, and you WILL know when that time comes, another four legged family member will be coming home with you. On a side note, great tips on starting up a car that has been sitting for a while, I never knew that. I guess it's just one of those things manufacturers don't want us to know about. GREAT VIDEO!!!!!! And again, I am very sorry for your loss.

So sorry for the loss of sweet Pinto, I know exactly how you feel being a huge dog lover myself. We just have to hold onto those sweet memories of our beloved family member our dogs. We just lost our oldest Beagle a week ago and its very hard. I see her in my minds eyes, when I look at where she would sleep or eat, and it brings that feeling of loss in my heart all over again. My condolences to you. I'm very sorry to hear about your companion . I have lost several in my life, and it is very difficult times. Hang in there, Sir. For your oil dry starts, Baxter Performance has a screw on oil filter assembly with a check valve in it that elemenates dry starts. I put one on my Jeep 3.6L engine and no more worries of dry start. You can tell every time you start it, no valve rattle.

So sorry for ur loss, dogs are extremely good companions. I’m a farm boy and had plenty of dog on the farm. Farm boys usually look at animals differently then other people, partly bc most of the animals are for work or food, but when we lost my wife’s dog and her daughter, the dog’s daughter, it was pretty difficult for me, so I know it was bad for my wife. Thank you so much for the content you share. I’m building an ‘08 tundra. 35” K02’s, 3” lift on icon 2.5 stage 3, and SPA adjustable uca. I’m probably going to do a bed topper and camp out of the back of my truck. We’ll see how things go.

The last time I lost a loyal dog of many years, I waited 6 months to rescue another pup, and it was the worst 6 months of my adult life. After that pain I promised myself, next time I'll grieve for a short while then go rescue another pup that just needs a chance.

All dogs go to heaven... o7 Pinto...It does get little easier over time, lost my dog back in 2019 he was 13 i keep his ashes and medical service vest next to my bed to help me sleep. They really are more then just an animal they arent just dogs. They are family, companions, rocks, life savors... Just know that every moment she spent with you was the best moments of her life, you made her life amazing i bet she had no regrets with that.

I’m so sorry. Pinto seemed like an amazing pup. Those of us who have dogs know it’s never “just a dog”. Many dogs are closer than even immediate family as you see them and interact with them every day. I always loved seeing her and thought how lucky you were to have that awesome “garage helper dog” who always just wants to hang out. Just used this trick on my Jeep that has been sitting in a cold garage for a few months. Started up like a dream and no annoying noises either. Even if I let my jeep sit for a day it can sound pretty rough, but this has been great!

Man, pet loss is tough. I lost my old furry friend like 4 years ago. She pee'd on 16 states and 2 other countries, swam in both oceans, and both gulfs. She road tripped a ton with me and never hesitated to do whatever was asked for a couple of french fries (steak fries were her fave). I don't drink very much, but I'll have a beer for Pinto while throwing a ball for my dog in the back yard tonight. Good to see you back.

It is a great pain Jason when a pet leaves and even more so when it is a dog because it has a great capacity to share with us, they are noble friends who are always with us and understand our bad and good times, their antics, how much we will miss seeing them play the ball. It's so wonderful that you shared her with all of us. As a dog person, I know that special bond. They are great companions and looking to there eyes always melts my heart and fill my soul with happiness. Expressing and sharing your emotions is totally natural. Jason, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve been following your channel for years and have always loved how you incorporated Pinto into your videos, it was always obvious how close you two were. I will miss seeing her in your videos, but I’m certain she is watching over you. Your videos mean a lot to me, and have helped me get through many hard days.
