Thank you. From this angle, she’s grabbing the kettle bell handle exactly where you said not to. She is not bringing her hand into a corner of the handle like you demonstrate. And the kettle bell is hitting her arm. It’s much different than the way you do it. Which definitely makes sense. And I will try. She looks very strong but I’m not sure if she was the best example for beginners experiencing this issue.

Totally agree. When you're the instructor and say to do it one way, and you also give the reasons why, and then your demonstrator doesn't do that, for a beginner, it's confusing.

I had never used kettlebells and I ended up bruising one of my forearms! This video helped immensely with the stability in holding it, as well as avoiding damage. Thankyou so much!

Do not start swing-type kettlebell exercised like this (with the bell between your legs, picking it up and awkwardly starting the swing from standing up right). This seems to be very popular in Crossfit Gyms. Start Swing-type exercised with the Kettlebell 2 or 3 feet in front of you. Reach out to it, and when you lock your shoulder in, it will swing behind your legs the same way it should at the bottom of a KB Swing, so that you start your swing loaded, and don't waste your first rep potential entirely.
