Woah there. Disclaimer: The type of compliment you give matters. Don't overdo it, focus on personality, and certainly no bodily compliments. It could cost you your job, if you use it at work and it backfires.

Hope my comment could reach you. Could you explain the differences between being proud and being confident? I was having a low self-esteem and have tried the "Fake it until you become it" strategy. Somehow I have fear of being regarded as a proud and arrogant person. Could you give me some tips on that? Great video from you and alpha m. Keep it up and have a nice day.
