You got this! It will get better with learning coping mechanisms and practice! Thank you for supportive comment and giving the push I need to keep creating this stuff! Hope it gets easier for you soon!
It takes some time getting everything figured out, but just like everything, with time and effort you will be able to get better and join the workforce again! Good luck!
Hi man, Yeah I feel like people are taking to my thoughts aswell, Ive had this since I was 19 and im 38 now so its al was been there. I hate voices. Its not good at all
Sucks dealing with it, but it helps also to see how I am much fortunate in many other ways compared to most of the world. Everyone has challenges, ours are a bit different.
Thank you for the comment! I personally have not worked as a peer support specialist. I was fortunate enough to secure a job in my field, but it took me 6 months of applying to get it. I did not know at the time about the opportunity to work as a peer support specialist. I have been in outpatient and in patient care where we talk to people that have gone through mental illness and made progress towards being functional in society. The hospital I was at actually held sessions where people that were once patients came to talk to us for like 30 minute sessions in a group. It gave me hope. I suggest you try it! there is nothing to lose and everything to gain!
Im having hard times to stay motivated 3 times in a week to go to work its cause of the anti psycotics im sure. Should I switch or should they lower dose?
When I stopped my antidepressants to see if that would cause a change, I was experience lack of motivation etc. For me the antipsychotic was coupled with the antidepressant and I continue to take them together even after 4 years.
