To the thumbs down folk who obviously didn't understand or fully appreciate the best pipe bending videos out there: I would suggest you pay someone to do it for you as Derek is far and away the best instructor on this subject :)
I've been plumbing 37 years and I've not long found your channel and can say honestly if all tutors were as straight to the point and clear in there instructions as yourself then the training industry would be much improved your vids are spot on with little faff and lots of good knowledge
A masterclass Derek, thank you for generously sharing your knowledge with us; great detailed videos, with clear, helpful close ups. You've saved me hours of frustration, top man 🙂👍
Another well presented video with very valuable tips to help with the pipe bending, I love the drawing with the angles, the solder was a well cool tip to get the bends and angles correct. An excellent video once again derek.
Truly amazing. Great tips given by a great teacher. The making use of a template and solder is genius. Marking out the centre of the pipe was a great tip too. I’m going to create a template, laminate it and keep it with my pipe bender. Thanks Derek 👍🏻 Asian Jon. Training.
Great learning video as usual and thanks for for sharing your knowledge to newcomers, all your video are very educational for new entries in the trade cheers derek
Thank you Sir! I'm going through your videos, just got to #2, getting ready to make a Cu pipe dryer/receiver setup for my compressor. You have produced an excellent stock of info. From Orlando, Florida, U.S.A. thanks again, and best wishes!
Thanks Derek, at least you have shown that sometime we can over bend the pipe, marking the bender and another great tip, a bit different to when I was tault with 2 metal folding rules.
Thanks very much for this. It is just what I need, except I need to do a 60mm offset on 22mm pipe. I need to work out what the minimum offset is, I hope that a 30 degree bend is possible. Good camera work here. Well done.
Please tell me what pipe thickness you use. I bought a Rothenberger Multi-Bender and when I bend pipe it cracks. I want to start practicing pipe bending. Thank you
Hi, does anyone know how to bend flat copper pipes? I understand I'd have to stuff the flat copper pipes with, like, fine sand so that kinks won't form when bending. But is there a specific tool to bend flat copper pipes with?
Very informative as always Del. Know what I was impressed by most - that fucking Silverline bending machine, it looks the Dog’s Bollox!! I guess for the course cowboys & career change chancers you can only buy cheap tools. Of course for speed on-site, you don’t have time to draw lines. For a parallel line stick the pipe against the Skirting & measure/mark from that. Another wee tip; use a bit of core solder to get the complete offset size, centre to centre, then use that on yer Bender.
