Another good video with tips especially marking both sides of pipe for cross over,, I wish you was my instructor when I was training many years ago things like this keeps the skills up cheers
Passovers can be frustrating. Lots of extra scrap in the bag mind you. We call them "trophys" when we mess a bend up. Putting 4,5,6 bends on one 3m pipe can be fun.
Whats your thoughts on using plastic pipes hep2o etc on central heating systems? It must he so much easier to install in an occupied house with furniture etc. I think there are regs stating no plastic pipework a minimum of 1m from the boiler but it might be different for different boilers.
Lee Monaghan hate plastic pipe needs scraping. Most boilers are 1 m away before you go to plastic but a few are 600mm. The reason for this is because the boiler could dry fire and melt the plastic pipe if you didn’t know. 👍🏻
How many degrees for small items medium items and large items for the crossover currently doing my plumbing and seems to be 30 degrees for small 45 for medium and 60 for big
Could you show how you would bend a 90° bend say from the floor to a specific height to e.g. 1 meter to the gas cooker connecter or is as simple as measure 1m +150 for the bend
With the information in the 3 videos you should be able to do bends at any length you just need to put your measurements in instead of the 150 l hope that helps and thanks for watching cheers
Hi, does anyone know how to bend flat copper pipes? I understand I'd have to stuff the flat copper pipes with, like, fine sand so that kinks won't form when bending. But is there a specific tool to bend flat copper pipes with?
I'll be honest, and not that I don't completely respect your work and the knowledge you're passing on mate, but I thought it would be way more technical than those thick, roughly-marked Sharpie points on the pipe, and using solder as an angle finder mate! haha I am now believing it may be possible for me to try this!
Very good, Very clear, Very interesting, I didn't think you head was big, fat or in the way.... Can I ask what brand of benders you use and the blue formers look the business!;)
