So with a plug and play tuner and the few bolt ons you mentioned you shouldn’t need to do anything to the transmission or at that point should you get that upgraded as well?

Hey so im looking at building an l5p from stock to 500 wheel, so as you said before cold air intake with 5inch exhaust system and possibly a transmisson tune is the best way to still keep the truck reliable?
Im looking to do a single tune with other supporting mods. What is a good tune to go with ive know other l5p owners to do 75 to 200 but i dont want to kill my trans.
if you're referring to gm's power figures, all vehicle manufacturers use crank horse power since it's a larger figure than wheel horse power. This video is talking whp, so making 550whp is probably about the same as making 650chp+
