We go over how to change the recoil rope or starter rope or pull cord on almost any snowmobile. We show how to remove the old rope and install the new rope without having to mess with the spring and putting tension on it. (this is for when the rope is not broke, there are a few more steps when replacing it when that happens) this is on a polaris indy 488 fan. some models may be different but the concept is the same. take photos before you take it apart!
