You won't have as much oil leak out if you screw in the dipstick at the end. Also after you should check the dipstick again at the end to make sure your 2 pumps was enough or too much. Good video.
I'm about to do this on my "new" boat (same drive). Have done it for an outboard for many years, but this is new. Are there plastic washers on the drain plugs that need to be replaced each time? Does the rubber o-ring on the dip stick need to be replaced as well? Thanks for the video.
Great video. My only issue is getting out the damn drain plug. It’s always stuck solid. (Not rusted just stuck as we only use our boat in fresh water). I’ve tried a vise grip on the screw driver method and it won’t break free. Volvo really needs to design a better plug with an Allen head or something. (sigh)
