Hi. If your injectors are leaking is the nozzles that need replacing. My scanner isn’t the same as yours. My reading are #1 -30 #2 11 #3 -28 #4 13. My scanner doesn’t show 0.00 it’s just got the 2 numbers not sure if it would go to -1.50 or 1.50. My car seems to run ok.
@@vag8uk hi thank you so much for getting back to me. Really appreciate it. I think my scanner tool starts with the last digits. so my reading are #1 -0.30 and so on. I’ve replaced all the copper seals. The only problem I’ve got is my rev counter is a bit jump on a cold start if I touch the pedal after warmed up it’s fines. My main question really. If I replace all the nozzles would that help get the readings down to 0.00 or near that.

I just tested my Audi SQ5 as I was hearing pinking / tinkling when increasing in low revs. I have 6 Injection Cylinders and on Cylinder 4 on my excel Log I have 1.13, 1.48 and 1.52, it was at 1.xx on several occasions when accelerating around my estate. Then on 6 lines I have 2.31 to 2.07.. Are you saying I have issues when -1.xx and -2.xx or is this also when 1.xx and 2.xx ?
my multiecuscan readings on a multijet engine vary like this: 1=0.10 2=0.50-0.60 3=0.21 4=-0,98 to -1.20 On idle, the engine vibrating a lot and the whole car. Is the fourth injector bad? Also, the fourth injector have some metal, rattle noise.
Hello I have a CAYC engine getting readings of +6 to -6 on tick over car runs very lumpy, car only sometimes reads this, then when it’s running fine it’s on 0 (all in spec) across all injectors any ideas ?
Hy, first of all thanks for the video. I have a problem with my Volkswagen Touran 1.9 tdi. The engine is trembling and the fuel is mixed with oil. So i have some smoke and of course I don't drive the car anymore. I have scanned the injectros and the 4 injcetors are beyond 2.99, all of them. The question is, is it possible that the 4 injectors stop working at the same time? Or the values I have are because of the ring arround the injcetors that are not good anymore. I am lost. I don't know if to change the injcetors,the selling rings or it's the motor. Help please!!
Video was very helpful thanks I checked my injectors and reading where on idle (1)0.49(2)-0.59(3)-0.32(4)0.07(5)0.74(6)-0.41 I had a drive and a fast section up a hill the readings after was. (1)0.26(2)-0.56(3)-0.10(4)0.27(5)1.02(6)-0.30 So judging by what you say. Injector #5 is bad?
Thanks for your reply. The engine is having intermittent issues at about 3500rpm it was misfiring. I had this on a Dyno and he said it's fuel related but couldn't tell me what it was. I have searched and searched on the internet and I'm not coming up with anything solid
Tdi common rail values are the next for four injectors. Values must be -+ 2.5 two negatives and two positives . Go outside the roadway and make a test . Goodluck
@@Pera-Peric on iddle you will always get the value for what i said and when running the values should be at the same range . Idle is showing minor values due to car is not running obiously . Hello ✋
@@alenhasanovic8108 two should be positive and two negative on idle . Some injector is dirty and needs to be repair but its not in bad shape at all . Revise them . 🙂✋
Hi could you help with my readings? I have on cyl 1 0.33, on 2 0.28, on 3 -0.34, on 4 -0.26 the values were taken while the engine was warm, do i have leaking injectors? The fuel consumption is also really bad. Thanks in advance

Hi, I am still learning of these values. Can you please help? My readings on BRE code engine are : on first 0.31 scnd -0.66 thrd -1.76 and fth 2.12 In my opinion that 3 and 4 are bad and need to be replaced?
I’ve been digging a little more into this, and on a few forums, people have suggested you can have a tolerance of +/- 2 range, I have an Audi SQ5 2020 edition and I also see on Cylinder 4 only mg/stroke 1.xx and 2.xx… So I presume this is fine as it’s within the tolerance? 🤔

This confusing me too much and i have motor vibration. even after 120Kmh is going like Rapid hammer blows. so: ON 0kmh 1= - 0,25 2= - 1,58 3= 1,16 4= 0,67 ON 50Kmh 1= - 0,21 2= 0,08 3= 0,17 4= - 0,04 ON 70-80Kmh 1= - 0,10 2= 0,18 3= 0,21 4= - 0,27 ON 120-130-140-160Kmh 1= - 1,24 2= - 0,05 3= 0,33 4= 0,95 Thanks for a reply.
@@vag8uk thanks for the reply. i have already removed the 4 injectors. cleaned the holes, cleaned the injector nozzles. i have replaced the seals and the copper washer. Oil and oil filter, Fuel Filter are new. Checked the High pressure pump and everything is good. no fault codes. i am afraid to buy remanufactured injectors because of bad feedbacks. Specially for CFHC, CFF motor cods

@@vag8uk Hi,please may i ask when you say fuel injector is leaking,do you mean you need to remove the injector and fit a new copper seal to stop the comprssion leak.Or do you mean the fuel injector is leaking fuel into the cylinder and not closing securly? Please can you clarify what you mean.

3.0 tdi? there are holes on the side next to the exhaust manifolds on the block, if you have dirt on the manifolds it means that the copper washers are damaged. I always check the fuel injectors, which go to the plus 5th cylinder
@@vag8uk I changed Injector 5 with a second hand injector. Now the engine runs very smooth and good but I have error in VCDS „5423 - Deviation injection quantity cylinder 5“. The new Injector had no IMA Code, I dont know if this is the problem. The values are: Injector 1 -0,83mg/stroke Injector 2 -0,09mg/stroke Injector 3 -0,15mg/stroke Injector 4 0.27mg/stroke Injector 5 0.66mg/stroke Injector 6 0.11mg/stroke
@@vag8uk when i pres gas pedal it goes to zero all 4 cylinders. Before i put aditiv for cleaning injectors it was more difference in measurement. Thank you for answer

@@karelkopp The positive 1.3 is bad, the negative it's trying to compensate for it. You can try to replace only the higher positive injector. The first injector it's on the left, near the timing belt. Remember to code the new injector, it's very important and will take about 500km until the ECU will "learn" the new injector.
Hi Friend could you help me diagnose its a vag 3.0 tdi amarok v6 engine cylinder 1: -0.12 cylinder 2: -0.98 cylinder 3: 2.10 cylinder 4: -0.72 cylinder 5: it ranges from 1.50- 5.00 cylinder 6: -1.10 Im guessing injector 3 and 5 are faulty, what do you think? thanks in advance
check if the copper spacers are OK, there are holes on the side of the engine from which exhaust gases come out, or replace them first, it won't cost much and check later. but if it gets bad, I would replace injectors 3 and 5
@@vag8uk hey thanks for the response, I just took out injector 5 and looked almost perfect the washer with no signs of blowby the injector, the nozzle looks completely clogged, so i guess injectors it is. Thanks for your help
