Riley always impresses me. He is skilled, capable, and always gets the job done - even when he's wearing nothing but socks. Just imagine what he can do with boots on! 🐄🧦 😄😜
I would agree if it was a grown man but that young man won’t weigh 100 pounds and with his skill on horses he will have that foal broke to ride and trained by the time it is ready to be trained by a grown man@@karinlotz5732
That took some riding, but it's always an awesome video when the cowboys get it done. Rance that was a great idea to have the the Black mares baby following along. Nice job by all.
Good job taking that baby out for experience and adding in the water training Ranser. I sure have been missing your cattle driving videos. Its a lifetime dream of mine to do some cattle gathering. I work for free 😊 Cheers from Nova Scotia.
Sure looked like a beautiful day to be out working on your horse. That is a lovely looking filly. I am glad you have a lot of water hope it keeps filling the ponds for years to come. Stay safe and healthy. Praying for your son on his trip, he will see a different world.
I adore watching you all work and I watch every day looking for your videos would love to see more y'all be safe God bless you Grandma Judy from Louisiana
Everybody in this family impresses me, every kid should be raised this way, great kids and great family, brings a smile and laughter. Thank you for great videos and values! ❤️ Great hired man too, can move pretty fast as well, if I remember right from a prior video, and a little cowboy about falling off his horse laughing. 😂😂😂 and how can I forget those wonderful dogs as well!
Nice to see you guys back working the cattle. Can’t believe how much the boys have grown. They are going to be a lot of help to you. You have taught them well. I missed seeing Reggie but he was probably at school and maybe next time. How is Ram doing on his mission? I sure hope he is enjoying it and meeting some very nice people to share his testimony with. Can’t wait to see Florida and Utah trips on here as well. Hopefully the arena you are building will be done soon so we can watch the boys practice there and improve their skills in the events they participate in. Maybe we can even see Sissy ride. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us they are the best. Good thing you have a good ranch hand, he is going to make sure you have things to eat and drink. Pretty lucky if you ask me and he seems to know what he is doing.. Maybe I missed it but you should introduce him to the people who watch your channel. Have safe travels and thanks again for sharing. I would purchase something but on a fixed income you can’t have any extra things added to your budget. Maybe after the first of the year I can budget in something. Thanks again for sharing.
Never in my life have I ever seen someone ride a colt so young in fact I would’ve never thought anyone would but what a great learning process for her. She’ll be a good one no doubt! 💜
God dam, was supposed to go grocery shopping with the Mrs, then ABR pops into my feed. Sent the little woman to bookclub with her girlfriends and ordered the groceries for home deliver. Now sitting here with a beer and my buddies watching ABR and eating burritos. Lorenzo is a good add to your ranch hands. Does he carry a back pack full of burritos and other goodies. We were betting on which dog got cactused first, I lost (I had Bill). How do those darn dogs don't get kicked? 😮 That battle between the fat dry cow and that mess of dogs was epic, we rated it a 9/10.
At 46:40 gotta go. Somehow that felt like a frameable picture. With the ambience throughout the video in mind, I captured that and will use it as one of my alternating screen backgrounds. Thanks for the update on ranching out there where mountains are your prairies and morning dew is your water. This one was back to basics! Looking forward to future Fla trips. Thanks!
Are you home schooling Rance and Riley? Best time gathering all those cattle. That is a good ranch hand to have a backpack of chips and something to drink!
All that bouncing around is fun ta watch as a viewer and as a Cowboy in a precious life !... One of your best segments ... I really like seeing you guys working your cattle
See, right there is why you guys had trouble. Your number one, all time cowboy Ridge was not on your cattle drive. I promise, he would of rather been there than in school. LOL
Im loving your family. Was part of a 500 head dairy, And construction company. It make them a better person. You and your wife are awesome! Stay safe and blessed 🥰🙏
Would love to see another episode of shoeing horses and behind the scenes of what it takes to maintain your herd of horses. Do the kids actually have their own horses?
Central Oregon here, we have juniper as thick as you could want. I hate the damn things, they look nice but they are a miserable thing to work in. Plus they drink a lot of water which we don’t have much of. The over population of juniper is caused by cattle and sheep grazing tho, they don’t eat the juniper, just grass, unlike the browsers. They use the water up and the elk and deer die off, allowing the juniper to take over which then eliminates the grass the livestock needs. And don’t get me started on erosion 😂. But I definitely support the cattle industry, it’s a huge part of our heritage and diet. I don’t own cattle but I do own a few horses and work on my buddies ranch when he needs help.
There's at least one person on ABR that doesn't seem to want to be internet famous. She always seems to be shying away from the camera. =) (disclaimer: I would be too!)
I don't remember the name of the Zane Grey book that they were riding through a lot of Cholla, so they used steer hide chest and leg protection for themselves and their horses.
You should put a corral with a one way gate around watering hole so cows can ome in but not get out and boom set that up when you need to catch them and its much easier!
Ram the city slickers around here don't know the difference between a bull and a steer. (Adults included). I don't think some parents could explain stud to gelding! Stay tuned for the next episode of the sock foot cow boy!
Ya see there old pard, It’s almost like brain surgery! By removing them there “oysters”!You change a stud horse to a gelding or a bull to a steer also defined as changing their minds from ass to grass!
Maybe a dumb question, but I notice most of your saddle straps under the riders are loose, how come, I always rode with mine tight 50 0dd years ago????
Date I viewed this 11/18/23 I'm an old puncher who was blessed to get a riding job on several "northern" California outfits, broken box L7, Spanish cross, lefthand brand, Shamrock ranch , Georgie Sequera, to name a few. Also I've never subscribed, ever. But for what I concider obvious reasons, given what going on in the world I find myself watching very little news mostly weather and alot of ABR. I wanted a large family I was limited to only 3. My first was what I wanted a beautiful baby girl, followed by to boys. My first was polluted with an immunization shot , MMR, ultimately putting her on life support. We would institutionalize her (that's making a lab rats of babies) brought her home for 28 years. Please don't think of it as a awful burden , it was what we asked for. She's who tought me to be the man I am today. And I am not a good man I'm just like all the rest but with one huge difference. I'm saved! My gifts are as follows welder carpenter plumber certified Electrician, Leatherman fishing guide(steelhead, salmon) horseman/cowboy. You can't be considered a good guy if fishing guide cowboy also outfitter is in my portfolio. All that said I hope encourages you all. The joy I feel watching everyone of fill a void for this Ole cowboy. Lost my Daughter 8years ago, my wife and youngest 5 years ago. May God continue to guard you all ! Georgie G GbarJ northern calif
Great to hear from you! Sounds like you have been there and done it all. Back in our rodeo days Momma and I traveled to and through Northern California almost every week during the spring time. It’s my favorite country so far and I’ve seen a fair chunk of the world. Never have done any real work over there though. Just playing rodeo. Thanks for the encouragement Hopefully you’ll stop in and say hello if you’re ever traveling through here Take care ABR⚓️
