OMG! I started doing backwards walking as part of a posture therapy routine. Then your video with circle walking came up. I said to myself "Self, next he'll be promoting backwards circle walking ha ha, hee hee" Well.... here it is.🤣
omg! This changed my life in two days. That hit just the right spot! I walked around my block pain free for the first time in 3 years. I’ve been busy doing bridges, planks, squats etc .. the circle walking put it all together.
Just found your channel and so glad I did! Started exercises today and saw a big improvement! Thank you for making these videos to improve people's lives!
thank you so much! There is a lady who invented a whole system of brain/child rehabilitation with circle walking. And KNEEESOVERTOESGUY has been pushing backwards walking for a long time as crucial. There is a video of people in China, over 100 year old people, who use backwards walking to remain strong.
Dr. Martin, the King of the Walk! : ) Love it! I saw a man with white hair today walking his dog, and I noted with approval that he was completely vertical, head right above his shoulders (not in front of them), and it was good to see because that man has a health benefit in walking like that. So many people I see every day are hunched forward, head jutting, or they are tilted forward at the hip, and I wonder how they can possibly go through life like that!
I tried these techniques and found them easy to do and very effective. All this time I’ve been a glute pusher and a over-strider. The whole reason I’ve been looking up “how to walk” videos is that I hurt myself hiking 50 or so miles over 5 days. I got the dreaded purple bruise on my right toe and started having achilles pain on my right, too. I noticed as I was getting fatigued I’d start walking with my left hip kind of jutted outward. When I adjusted it (felt very unnatural to do) the achilles pain went way down. I don’t know how I bruised my poor big toe. Lots of room in the toe box and foot did not shift around in the shoes. Think maybe I was just smashing down on the toe a lot. I wish you were available for consultations here in Washington! Thanks for a great informative video.
@@ToddMartinMDI have been deep diving into the channel! I knew you had to be a dancer or a martial artist (you’re both!). The video on “floating the head above the body” I swear it has improved my situation about 98%. Many many thanks! So glad the YT algorithm spirits led me here!
Hello; I saw the latest video, was educational as well. Thought of an additional modification, and tried it out. I did walking backward in a 'figure 8' mode, it was beneficial. Added on a 'bouncy step' to it .. and all of this reminded me of a relaxation dance routine. Wayne E. Tucson, AZ
@@vishwasjoshi7548 Walking straight backward on an incline is good exercise. Trying to circle walk on an incline would not be a good or practical exercise.
