What you do when your hair is red and is faded ? How you refresh the rest of the hair ?

I've colored my hair red for years now. I use 6R from Sally's. My stylist told me to use the same color, but as a demi-permanent formula and a 10 volume developer to refresh the rest of the color.

I have problems getting it wound. Ive not seen a tutorial on how to wind the hair up into the scalp and it remain there.

When touching up my roots should I concentrate on the crown part middle of the line and then work down the rest of the head and also how long should it take me to do my roots is there a time limit and then once I’m done the time starts for the processing at about 40 minutes right?

Do we have to rinse, just with water after applying this n wait for 24 hrs to shampoo? Or we shampoo n condition immediately after the application? Thanks!

Seema Majid after the processing time don’t wait, shampoo twice and condition as normal. Wear something that you can take off without pulling over your head. Then jump in the shower 👍

Rinse hair well to remove all color from roots, then shampoo focusing on the scalp, follow with conditioner which will close the cuticle and lock the color in.
