I attempt to replace the cab corner on a 1957 GMC pick up by copying Kyle at @CarterAutoRestyling . I found this method to be very useful and the final product looks great for my first attempt. Thanks for watching.

Nice work! A coupe pairs of Irwin Vice Grip c-clamps with swivel pad would really help you to hold your panel while fitting and trimming. Also, a possible alternative to the 3M roloc discs is Norton Blaze orange discs. Both are aluminum oxide and tough as nails. The Norton brand is sometimes a little more economical.
For that bottom part sticking out a little too much you could put a zip cut in it, push that section in to where you want it then weld it back together. I have watched DD Speed Shop and saw Dan do it many times.
looks good but dont forget you can move a lot of metal with a hammer and dolly! keep at er! gonna be a bitchen truck when its done and you can say "i did it!"
@wallysworkin823 that mis alignment can be massaged with a hammer and dolly where no more cutting to align will be necessary. Light taps is all u need and patience. You will never forget this learning curve. Btw, u mentioned it was an AZ truck. Are u close to az?
