That is how I so learn. Not only are you the teacher for someone like me, but you are great at details. You pay very close attention to details and are thorough in their explanations. Super intelligent, you can explain a complex situation to me and make it simple. This was shown in your opening. You explain what SMS (social media strategy) was. I didn't know. Sometimes we assume that people know and we forget about the curious and newbies who stumbled upon this concept while surfing for other youtube content. That was me. I click off a video because I couldn't follow what speaker was saying due this minor missing detail. Then you added minor but so potent detail, not only that but gave a synonym for Strategy (plan). That right there help me to see that you had the content I was looking for even though it was not in the title. I have an Idea for building a social media website. But your content was just a much needed. That was brilliant. When I learn something new, I need a reference and that's what you did, you speak in reference. Thank you. I just got a plan together for my Instagram so this video is right on time. That Quality/Quantity sweet spot is the struggle. Knowing when I'm rightfully stretching myself[cos stretching is sometimes necessary] and when I'm starting to sacrifice quality.
I’ve never done a social media strategy. I honestly don’t know where to start. I would love to manage pages for me and my kids. I love creating videos but I get burnt out and overwhelmed with managing my time and having time to post quality and frequent like you said. Overall I enjoy it and it’s actually becoming my favorite thing to just create.
I'm glad I came across this video. I recently started podcasting and while I didn't initially aim for it to be anything major, I also want to set myself up for potential opportunities of success that may come up. I've only been going for a few months and still learning and figuring what social media platforms to fully settle on. Right now my stuff is mostly audio only and long form so trying to figure out a good balance between that and other platforms. Listening to this has been helpful and reassuring.
I'm one of the solopreneurs trying to do all the things. I want to accomplish everything you went over, raise awareness, educate, convert and sales. I am still new (1 year) into using social media for these purposes and I've found the most engagement comes from sharing more personal stories that tie into my business. I have an online store HeyRedShop, where I sell secondhand goods and when I talk about my favorite pieces, some handed down or given as gifts, that creates a stronger connection. However I'm not used to sharing on social media, so I'll divert to other related topics. I think your advice about paying attention to your own behavior and finding a format and platform that fits my comfort level will make a big difference. Thank you Erin!

I have not made a social media strategy HOWEVER, this video has definitely given me a lot of direction. I need to step away from social media and beging my assessment so that i can be more intentional going forward.
You might find it helpful to analyze your current audience. Find the people in your current audience that falls into your target audience . Then just start networking with them.

i have so many ideas content of from beauty , recipes relationships, friendships story times , reviews, diys, inspirational or motivational idk where to start. i feel more comfortable posting on snap-chat because of how many friends i have as well as the "spotlight" stories which bring a lot of people to my account . i feel like i can do great on snap chat with content i want to create but i think my biggest thing is getting them to engage with them and getting on topic that they can relate too, i want my audience to engage with me. at this point i really think i need guidance watching youtube helps but i think im more of an hands on person that needs kind of that one one one lesson , but this video did give me some view on where to start and where im lacking thank you
