Very clear instructions for beginning crocheters. I like the large hook, thick yarn in multiple colours, clear light background, all of which makes it easy to see. Also the comments of how the stitch looks on both sides while pulling loops through the back loop only.

I'd bet this would look great as a "Wearable" afghan, aka Poncho, as well! Simply create 2, then stitch edges to create the shoulders and neck/head opening. Thanks for the idea!

Loved the tutorial I’m a fairly new at crochet and I’ve found I’m a blanket person lol this has given me a great idea for a blanket for my friend as I couldn’t find a fairly easy quick pattern that won’t take me ages to do, as my last project of a Lapgan for my wheelchair took me over a week to finish !! Thank you for this tutorial and like yourself I love the half double stitch (half treble) in the UK, looking forward to seeing more of your tutorials 🙂 x

I always have several crochet projects going at once...but I haven't made a blanket for a while! tempting! I'm currently making a garland of crochet motifs to hang on my garden fence (it's ugly, just chicken wire to keep the dog out). Looking forward to watching more of these videos!

I love this Crochet blanket. Love all the colours, especially the Lilac/purple and the yarn looks so soft. As a quite new beginner to crochet projects other than a Granny Square I thought the video, instructions and subtitles were excellent quality. Weaving in the ends with a crochet hook instead of a needle is a new and excellent tip for me. Love the fact that it has a knitted stitch effect too. For my first attempt with this yarn I would use just the one Lilac colour as I am not very neat at joining, and because it is my favourite colour. I would use this for myself as a lap or shoulder blanket for the Winter months :-) Thank you for a lovely video.

Just waiting for my Yarn to arrive, then I can give this lovely Blanket a go. Fingers crossed I can get it right :-) Thanks to your website I have been able to make a Crochet Messy Bun/Hat. ( Which I donated to my local Community Coffee Morning for fundraising.) It makes up so quick and I think I am going to end up a Crochet Addict. @@lovecraftscom Just a quick update. I love the Paintbox yarn, so lovely and soft, but just one negative. I was a bit disappointed on the amount of yarn in the ball. I was only able to do 2 stripes with the Grey and Lilac , but strangely the Cream was a slightly different ply so it had more yarn to the ball. As it is my first time working with this yarn I think I underestimated how much yarn I would need. Never the less I will purchase more of the Lilac and Grey when I can afford to. Any advice regarding the Cream yarn will be appreciated.
