I actually have a project where the bottom consists of semi circles and I want to crochet a straight edge onto them as I don't like the look. How would I do that?

I love this. I am going to learn how to change colors then make lemon, lime, and orange citrus slice dish scrubbiest! What kind of yarn could I use to make a rug? That sounds interesting!

For your demonstration you started with 6 stitches in the magic ring. How many stitches would you start with for making a rug? Barbara

Could you add a V stitch or some other stitch to it to add a little variety in? If so, how would you increase them? Thanks in advance for you help!

Thanks for this video, it was exactly what I needed to make my armchair covers! I found that a ch3 worked better in making it even at the bottom. Subscribed.

Would this work for the top of the sleeve on a Molly Weasly sweater? Adjusting for size of course?

hey thank you for the turorial! i’m having a hard time keeping the bottom a straight line , i’ve been redoing it but it still making a like weird v shape , do maybe know why?
@HappilyHookedMagazine

It might just be your tension! If its too tight, try adding one more chain to the turning part and that might help out a bit. If its curving down because its too loose, you just might need to go down a hook size to tighten it up. 💜

Do you think this would work for rounded bra cups? I want to make a Tinkerbell costume, but none of the sweetheart neckline tutorials I can find look like what I'm looking for

Do you think this could this work for a shawl? I’m short and a triangle shawl seems to always be way too long in the back by the time the sides are long enough to comfortably wrap around me in front. I’m thinking a semicircle shawl would be perfect. I assume I would just keep adding one more single double crochet between the two double crochets in a single stitch in each “round”. Thanks!
@HappilyHookedMagazine
@HappilyHookedMagazine 2 года назад
This actually might make a pretty nice shawl! Wouldn't hurt to test it out. And yes, you would just keep repeating the increases and you should be good to go! Let me know if you try it! 💜 Sam

I’m so confused…..my brain doesn’t comprehend the pattern for keeping increasing 😢 you say “keep on going like that” but I don’t understand how you can make it very big at all “going like that”. Is there a written pattern for how to increase rows when you want to make it big for a rug etc?
@bonniekeyes7863
@bonniekeyes7863 3 года назад
Could you please comment the increase, you say it too fast. I got lost on your last row because it was too quick. Thank you
@HappilyHookedMagazine
@HappilyHookedMagazine 3 года назад
Every row adds one more in between the increases. The second row, has a "pair" of stitches made in each stitch. For the third row, there will be one "lonely" stitch worked between every "pair". For the 4th row, there will be two "lonely" stitches worked between every pair. For a 5th row, there would be three "lonely" stitches worked between every pair. The half-circle could just keep growing like that... until you run out of yarn!
@addieh5791
@addieh5791 3 года назад
@@HappilyHookedMagazine wait so basically on the third row you are putting into the stitch one dc, then the next stitch it is another one dc. But then the stitch after that is is two dc, then one dc, one dc, two dc, one dc, one dc…. So on? On the fourth row you would add in three single dc in between each pair of dc, right?
