When your program do you copy & paste the parameters from the old unit or get them from from davie ? Love your videos dude 👍🏻

Hey Joe. Thank you for the support buddy. 🙏 I pull them from the back office at Daf, but I'm looking into more ways to do this, which I want to cover in the future, I'm awaiting TEXA to get in touch with me about ecu copy and paste with their new tablet and also I'm looking at swapping EPROMs from one faulty ebs unit to a new or 2nd hand one BUT my component removal and replacement skills need a bit more work before I do a video lol

You can use ktag up to hardware numbers like 187xxxx. with hardware numbers like 2xxxxxx ktag will not work. anything after 2018 is locked. I'm sure something will become available eventually

Do you know if the data on the obd port must be activated from the dashboard? I plugged a generic obd reader and i find no data on the obd port. Thanks

Hi, thanks for the comment. A generic code reader won't work. You need to use diagnostic protocols for heavy-duty commercial vehicles, specifically SAE J1939

Hello, is your diagnostic device online? Is there a way to use it offline because I don't need programming, I just want troubleshooting

Davie unfortunately needs to be online to be used. If you want offline diagnostic and troubleshooting just like Davie without programming I suggest you enquire about Jaltest from Eclipse here: www.trucktechuk.com/jaltest

I have Ebs mulfunction and yellow transmission warning can emodul2 cause this problems

Thanks for the comment. You will need to get the diagnostic trouble codes out of the vehicle and do some diagnosis unfortunately

hi chap wondring if you can help, i got a euro5 cf 85 6x2 unit has a strange fault i not been able to sort out, when fault is active get transmission fault and abs fault on dash when put computer on in transmission has error 3198-8 can message wsi from break system invalid signal . ebs module has error64-64 rear axil modulator d978 comunication problem / no power. when you go in to check voltages in module there it says when the errors are active only 2.5 volts on pin 9 when you mesure the voltage its all fine. ive checked the cables to rear break modulator ive changed rear break modulator and ive changed the ebs module. when the error is active and you manualy put power directly to the rear break module both errors go away. any sejestions. thanks in advance.

It's a CAN communication/power/earth problem from the EBS ecu unit (D977) to the rear axle modulator (D978). pins B1 and B4 of the EBS ecu (977) needs to be individually load tested with a bulb with a 24v power supply to the rear axle modulator to pins A4 and A3. Possibly B7 of the EBS ecu (D977) to the EBS module (D978) pin A1 is interrupted so load test that too Also check the for a Interrupted earth connection or contact resistance in the earth connection of the rear axle modulator (D978) on pin A2. The reason the voltage drop/Comms is the ECU sees a problem with the power/communication so shuts down the system. I personally would be running new wiring in from ECU to module as the wiring wasn't the best on euro 5.

@@TRUCKTECHUK hi thanks for getting back I had run a new power wire directly from ebs and ground wire right to cab earth point. Your telling me euro 5 wiring sucks. All hard bumpy gravel roads hear everyday is another gremlin with these trucks. Anyway thanks again I will have another go with that unit tomorrow and let you know

@@fawazkhan2988 the system is £13000 pounds and is available from DAF. You will have to go to your nearest truck dealer to purchase it
