The dragon squat is an excellent display of unilateral single leg strength, mobility & balance.
Learning the dragon squat can be done using the progressions in this video.
Some of the harder progressions may not be available to beginners when they start, but over time with practice and patience the legs will adapt and the dragon squat will reveal itself.
