I depends on the model and brand but usually the top one is tray that collect water from the dry mode or dehumidifier The bottom one is the condensator, which you have to regularly drain so the unit works efficiently . How regular as far as im concerned it depends on where you live and how humid it is there

Yikes mine is new and after 2 nights it was draining from the hose into a bucket a lot. Now I’ll try and drain the bottom one. Wish me luck. It seems like too much water to me… Thank for the video.
