nah the exploit is with salvage ship basically u find the one with drugs and take them but leave ur friend in the ship then you quantum away and quantum back and everything will have respawn therefore dupping all drugs, there is no end to how many time you can do it

Just a quick tip when it comes to entering the ground locations you sell/buy illegal goods at. You will NEED to act like someone is inside camping the trading terminal, because that's exactly what some people will do is expect people to just run into the airlock and right to the terminal and dude with a FS9 is sitting in the back and ganks ya. ALWAYS expect people to be sitting and doing nothing. I pretty much only trade in SC so please, it so easy for these bandits to sit in place and have the people walk right up to them. CLEAR YOUR CORNERS(WITH A GUN OUT), ALL OF THEM. You will eventually lose a ship full of drugs to some rat that could have been an easy kill.

@@ohmybreadsticks Yeah some of the "lawful" missions you get can bring you to an area without an comm-array, and when that comm array is down its a free-for-all wherever you can pull a gun out.

@@rocketmagnet427 You'll use them until you have a time where it gets stuck in your hand due to desync and you will blow yourself up. Happens to me 50% of the time i use grenades.

Adding on to that, you want to make sure that the local commlink is up before going in. Most people don’t really want a crime stat, but if the commlink is down they’re far more likely to kill you as there are no repercussions.

If you don't have a crimestat, not stopping for the scan will give you a lvl1 crimestat and a 20K fine. With lvl1/2 you can still land at stations/cities and pay the fine.

Bought the MSR based on how well it was supposed to be at smuggling, namely the shielded cargo. Would be crazy if they actually followed through on that, would be a real shame if it just ends up being marketing buzz and broken promises.

unfortunately I think the sheilded cargo will probably just be unscannable just like with the constellation Taurus and that's it. I hope the real smuggling can at least be done with the data running capabilities but who knows when that will be a thing

Great guide! I had troubles accessing some terminals on drug labs lately - I can interact with it but nothing happens and it doesn't open. This morning Jumptown worked and now it doesn't. Same with other labs and it's random. What's the issue and is there any workaround? Cheers!

I only have 20k UEE creds? how would you advise getting from the Aurora to being able to rent a cutlass? I'm going to try to play this demo again after 3.18.1 drops (it's unplayable for me atm),. Oh and from contraband police to drug runner, quite a turn around deadlyslob.

If you can do the 'Breach and Clear' mission it rewards 73,000 aUEC. It bugs out sometimes but if you keep trying or get a good server you're golden. Another option is doing some of the bounty missions for VLRT. You're ship will be able to kill them easily. Just make sure to use countermeasures when they fire rockets at you with 'H'

Any ship with a cargo grid yeah. Bug hull may be a bad pick because of the external cargo grid. Other players can just pull cargo off with a tractor beam

Are the trading issues like waiting for hours to sell solved? I remember a few updates ago it would literally take hours to sell your cargo, including at the location you showed.

So yes and no. Locations like Brio, Delvin and Reclamation have high demands or will accept no demand products so you don't have to wait. The other locations have limitations so people don't sell there as often

I manage on a tight budget with an 8 gb AMD Radeon RX 580, 16 mb of ram and an AMD Ryzen 5 cpu with 6 cores. I don’t know my fps but it’s playable as long as I don’t go to New Babbage during the free fly.

all this time and risk for so little profit... 10min for a vhrt group bounty is allready 70k... this would be profitable if you could like buy a million worth of slam within a hour.. but the risk would be still to high. better of with a bigger ship and regular cargo if hauling is the choice for making money..

This is only worth it if you are into the role playing aspect of it. Profit-wise it is on the very low end compared to bounties, salvaging, mining ... all of which is way more consistent as well.

I added chapters that will help. The video does run long, but there is so much more to smuggling the just the locations. This video is intended to cover every little detail about the process down to ship rentals and jumptown.

The game shares inventory across servers so bed logging is a bit of false info. Bed logging does nothing to increase inventory. Idk how he didn’t know this / care to research but there it is. Don’t believe everything you hear on the internet.
