Im a little confused about this. I thought you are not supposed to sand asbestos tile. Ok my asbestos tile has a sealant on it. It's not was, but it's hard a d smooth. I suppose that could be scuffed a little, but not enough to oenetriatenthe tile. Is that correct? Thanks.

wouldn't sanding asbestos tile release a ton of asbestos dust?

@@DuraamenFloors How do you clean it up properly? Rags? Towels? Shop vac up the wet paste and keep adding water? How do you dispose of any of those?

@@TheShomare Dispose of it as any other ACM asbestos contaminated material. Keep everything wet, have HEPA filters running, wear a respirator, and pray.

@@DuraamenFloors Wrong! Only Chrysotile Asbestos absorbs water. The other types repel water. So wetting doesn't necessarily work.

Does applying micro concrete like this make the floor feel hard just like concrete or does it still feel like soft vinyl?

It is concrete and feels like concrete i.e., hard.

Thanks for info...question: Applying porcelain tile over basement asbestos tiles (firmly in place, not loose, and which are on basement concrete) tiles have hard, clear sealant...So, if the sealant coat(s) is first scuffed, as you demonstrated, can thinset skim coat go right on sealed asbestos tile, (before the coat of thinset when laying porcelain tile) or does CP 1000 go o? Thanks!!!
