Awesome video! Bet you could do it with a deer head! I have friends that bury their skulls deer or otherwise next to an ant bed for 6 months, then bleach them. This is so much more efficient!

Great Video! I was in Germany years ago & had the privilege to see a number of Euro mounted deer heads, at a mayors home, (The Burgermeister),of a town I was visiting. They were great, although, this gator head is phenomenal!

German hunter here, I prep all my trophys that way and add a nice wooden backplate to mount it on the wall. Pro: Cheap way to get some beautiful trophys. Con: Wife refuses to open the freezer during deer season. Pro tip : NEVER let the antlers of any dear touch the bleach, not even for a second (wrap them before!)

Both of you together, YES!!! Ryan, I did a search just now; can you go over turkey spurs, beard, skull, etc.? I did a beard mounted in a shotgun shell (spurs on Paracord) last year for my son who was with me on my turkey hunt. Rob; solid words at the end.

If you have the time,just like a deer skull I throw the whole head in the pot hair and all. Boil it for 2 hours and a the work is boiled away instead of skining . Boiling saves a lot of work. The end result is the same with less work. It`s a two part prosess. Boil with skin on then scrape off as much as you can then reboil. Then pressure spray and then peroxide, Hey great tips we all can use. Now all I have to do is find a gator In Ontario Canada hehe.
