Thanks that’s give me some really useful information and I’ll go ahead and fill out the Form only trouble is my bike is an import and I literally know virtually zero about it and there’s no Engine Number and the bike is now 50 years old 😮but it’s got a NOVA all done but that’s it🤞👍
Did you have any luck pal ive currently got a yz426 but no plate with engine number anymore as came off got vin etc but don't want to waste time if need an engine number

And keep it in good condition and maybe leave it a year or two as I see they seem to hold their money ok😉I just don’t want the stress the same as you filling in form’s again as I just had to renew my Licence for a medical Licence and I couldn’t prove who I was to the DVLA so have now resent it with more information on and 🤞I’ll get it back soon, it’s all form filling yet you come into Dover on a Dinghy illegally and they give you everything that’s what P****s me off 😭But I’ve got to say a big thanks to you for offering me your Engine number that’s very kind mate🤗👍
@@Rectro-V2 I remember phoning up and saying I had a problem with my application. She did it on the phone with me and a couple emails of pictures of proof of purchase along with my I.D I had a confirmation email buy the time I got off the phone.

Hi mate, So I filled all the form out how you did and went to my MOT and the guy was asking for paperwork from the manufacture and price of the bike stuff like that and prove of the cc of the engine. Mine a stomp 140cc but wanting it to register it as a 125 & and it was built in 2021 and it’s says that on the vin number how do I get around to mot it now then mate? Or was the guy just being difficult.

mark pulling I registered my ktm 125 sx at the start of the year and made it into a supermoto but want small pitbike for fun on trails etc, looking at m2r’s what did you do for certificate of newness ? Did you send nova your invoice from funbikes or ?
@@blynki2529 in the end nova just accepted my invoice from fun bikes but initially they rejected my application because they said they wanted the certificate of newness when I said you don't generally get them with pit bikes they just accepted the invoice ...phew !
What did you do regarding the nova part? I've just had a email though saying I can now apply for the log book. Did you print any of the nova forms off to send with the v55

Hey mate is the tax and reg still 75 and do i need to put mine on a q plate when i did buy the bike bran new out the box but they wont give me a certificate of newness i do have the receipt
Hi yes it's £75 ..55 for the registration and 20 for the tax ...yes you'll need to q plate it ...most companies don't have a certificate of newness for these new pit bikes...I'm doing mine at the moment still waiting for my reg no from the dvla it's been 4 weeks but can take a few months Cheers mark
once you have completed the v55 and got your log book do they send you a number plate? or do you have to go out and get one? no one has mentioned anything about that?
lemoncalpol i figured out how to get the certificate of newness for the WPB 125, you just need to buy one from stomp on their website just type it in in the search bar ‘certificate’ and it will pop up and you can buy one.
