MOTO RAMPAGE I just put that it was a gift from family I originally sent the v55/5 forms off before lockdown and just received a letter today saying I need to inform NOVA so I put date first registered 24/04/2020 think that’s okay? Or will I be charged for not notifying them sooner
WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT DUALTRON SPIDER ELECTRIC SCOOTER? I need to add a lot of things to the scooter to pass the MSVA Inspection, like mirrors, lights... I looked in the manual posted on DVLA, I guess I need an engineer or someone experienced to tell me what and how to add these things to my scooter..

If I have original paper work from buying a road legal pit bike already with lights indicators etc brand new it’s a thumpstar road ripper 125 do I still after register it with nova or can I just send the forms off with the 55 for registration fee and the 20 for tax for year???? Any help would be good

hello mate i am trying to do the nova process, when you log in you click create or amend, next stage private individual, next stage now asks am i importing a bike from Republic of Ireland into GB using a delayed declaration? or EU into Northern Ireland? mine is a KTM450 SXF 2020.5 and this question is throwing me off as i dont want to get it wrong !

Hi there just wondering if you could help me buddy I had two emails come through today one telling me to log in and check and it said I didn’t know any VAT another email I had come from Nova support saying they think the bike is new but it was made in 1999 I have the certificate of newness stating that what do I do cheers for any help
Sorry for the abundance of questions but when you put that you bought the bike from a friend and they want a receipt do they contact the friend aswell? and what would you put on the invoice if i got my friend to write one out?
Hello there , after submitting my nova application for my Yamaha YZ125 I have been asked for the following , Purchase invoice which I have Date of first registration which I am a bit confused about, should I just send a photo of my certificate of newness as this is my first time registering this bike, Year of model which is on the cert of newness 👍, Mileage and history / background of my bike, I assume mileage would go down as 0. I’m just a bit confused about history of bike and date of first registration any help would be appreciated thanks .
Hey mate will I need. certificate of newness to apply for the nova and v55? looking to road legal my pitbike but people keep saying I need my certificate off newness. Also mate I have frame numbers but not sure if my engine has yet until I look tomorrow if the engine hasn’t will this be a problem. Please reply as looking to start filling out the forms ASAP. jl_ Stuntz I Mate no you don’t need certificate of newness that’s only to prove to dvla what age the bike it will just be out on a q registerion plate mate without one

Alright mate, i have a pitbike I race, wanting to make it road legal but it does not have a vin number at all, any idea how I go about getting one? Or as I have been advised just make my own and rivit it to the headstock

To process the notification and calculate the VAT amount due, HMRC require further information to verify the value of the vehicl
I’ve also got a similar response I note from your application that your vehicle was a gift. Can you please provide a receipt from the person who gifted you the bike? Can you also confirm if the bike is a New Means of Transport, if it is VAT will be need to be accounted for.

I can’t get past the driving license it’s asking for my driver number but that’s not even 8 digits long it’s longer and btw im on a provisional trying to put my pitbike on road and it’s not giving me the option of choosing uk

davyjeff awesome mate also give them a ring towards the end of the week and ask to double check the status of your application and they can correct it over the phone if anything is wrong mate

Praying you can help me 😫...I’m 16 and am riding a 50 on a cbt atm but I have an off road yz125 could I register it in my name before I turn 17? And also my frame has been powder coated and frame number isn’t visible will I need to try and get the frame number back to register it or is there ways around it?
Louis Vasiliou hi mate , you can register a bike when ever you like , and as for the frame number you will need to have one have you tried sanding the frame down on the numbers it should work and be able to see the number again

Just don't get Why you need to do the nova form if you have done the DVLA my local bike shop said it was a American thing can you explain if can thanks 😊
I'm not 100%sure but basically you need to prove to hmrc (nova) that the bike your. Making road legal has no tax vat owning on it and dvla won't issue log book untill nova has been done

Phillip Davies hi mate not sure I could do it for you as I’ll need your personal info like name address ect , the process should take around 3-4 weeks what takes the time is waiting for nova and the dvla to issue your log book

Yes that's correct only need that if you import or custom build I believe but iv not done any in about 2 years when we was in the eu so I'm not sure what the correct process are now

@@motorampage111 I think I'm starting to understand it now nova clears the bike of any unpaid vat/ been imported. I'm doing a wpb 125cc how do I completely the v55 form just put enduro exempt and the rest of it?
I've just done this form and send it saying it was a gift from family they want me to prove it's age. I sent them a certificate of newness and was told that might not be enough. I have to wait 3-4days wish me luck. Edit. I did say I have no proof of the age but was told I have to so I sent the certificate.
