Thank you for specifically saying there's no polarity with brake switch. I cut my connectors off to shorten the wire and realized I didn't mark which wire was what, I've been searching for that exact answer to make sure I don't shorten anything out. That's literally the last connection I need to make to finish wiring my bike

Does it come with a charger for the battery you provide? Also, since my wr400f already has a headlight that runs off the stator will i need to do any modding for that or will that just stay the way it is?

If l wanted to run this from the bikes stator via a two wire voltage regulator, guessing l would connect the hot wire to red on harness, and black harness wire to ground?

Paint Typex on the mount holes...gently hold the lighting mount up to it,squeeze once,drop it down and drill...far easier,no measuring required! Oh,step-drill it,afix rubber seals,use a large washer of the bolts,vibration proof!

I could use some tips.. on installing lighting kit on a sur-ron LBX. I dont want to tap into the bikes battery if i dont have to. Ideally i would figure out a way to use a 25,000mah power bank to power the lights i mean people use drill batteries 🔋 so why not.. but i am lost at how to do this.

I have a honda crf250x do you think the stock stator and battery can handle all the light pluse LED headlight and speedometer or should i upgrade the stator?

You should be just fine. When you start to add auxilary lighting, that's when you might want to look into one. But with the "X" from Honda you should be fine. Thanks *Eben Heacock* for the question.

THIS IS A GOOD BASIC VIDEO BUT ONE WITH MORE DETAIL ON THE NEEDS FOR BOLTS would be great. What drill size, etc. What do you do with a YZ450FX which comes with no headlight etc. Purchased the polisport light but no instructions/comments on how to mount it. Lots of details missing here. I will figure it out but hoping the number one resource in the industry could guide me the right way

How would you wire up a headlight on a bike that doesnt have a headlight stock. I would like to street legal a CR250, how could I draw from the RMATVMC battery pack to light it up. I only need the light to work for inspections as I never ride at night, but would like it to be functional if I do get caught in the dark.

Instead of connecting the supplied brake switch to the rear brake, you could install it on the front master cylinder and it should work, correct?

Hey, +Rocky Mountain ATV MC, really appreciate the info but I have a quick question On yalls website, it says I have to select my bike before choosing, which is a 2014 CRF450R (no battery; nissin brakes). That isn't a choice on the drop down menu, but I see that a 2004 xr250r is and comes with the compatible pressure switch and the external battery. Would that work for my bike?

is it completely necessary to drill holes to hold the tail light in place? is there any sort of strong glue or resin that would work instead? I have a different tail light I ordered from amazon that I would really like to put on my 2015 yamaha ttr 125.

The bolt & nut setup is definitely the strongest method. We have never tried a glue to attach the rear fender/tail light together. For long term use i wouldn't think it would hold up? Just my .02 cents. ~Vinny

+Coltin Davis We don't list it for your machine, but you can make it work. Our kit is designed to work with hydraulic brake master cylinders in order to actuate the hydraulic brake light switch. Your bike has a rear drum brake system. Which requires a standard universal brake light switch. You can make it work.. but i would recommend you look into our Tusk Enduro Lighting Kit to see all the parts included so you can see what it will all take to install onto your bike? This is just one thing i've noticed you would need to convert over in order to utilize the whole kit. If you have any questions on something let me know, i'm here to help! +Maurice Grissom The only issue you'd run into is powering a headlight. Your stock stator does not produce enough power to run a headlight so you'd have to figure that out. Other than the headlight as long as you ordered the kit that includes the battery pack you'd be able to run this kit from that battery pack. The battery pack has plenty of power to power the kit (Blinkers, Horn, Brake/ Taillight) but not a headlight. That power needs to be produced by the bike. Just install it using the 12v coil wires... It will run without batteries... Use a fuse for that too.

I found a problem... my engine killswitch by tusk plugs into the main harness but doesnt show anywhere on the diagrams how to connect to my bike and all the videos I found say it's only an on and off switch for the lights even though it says engine stop on it... why is it my bike was street legal until I bought the tusk compact switch panel and now the harness too since I am obviously to stupid to reconnect 5 wires....

i just installed this on my 05 drz400e last week. i bought the trail tech x2 headlight for it to replace the stock riding light. i called rmatvmc about the x2 headlight and they recommended i purchase a new stator and regulator/rectifier. what combination of stator and r/r would your recommend for my bike and what size amp fuse should i get?

+mitchell baxter Your DRZ400E will power the X2 Headlight from Trail Tech just fine. You shouldn't need a higher output stator.
