If anything that day should reinforce your confidence....that machine is directly connected to your brain! You and Boulderdash should have a competition on the smallest gold and lightest weigh-in......I think you two would be pretty witty about it!
Hey hey!!! It was great to get a metal detecting video today💯👍 Thanks💓 Out on my metal detecting adventures, or just hikes with the fam I've seen hand stacks and whadda' you know... We always say "Oh look Honey, and old foundation to a house or a yard border🤣 Now I know better💖🔥 Thanks my friend😃 Happy hunting👍
Pretty sweet finding 2 a couple inches apart. I found 2 in one scoop once. Love the hand stack history. Those old boys were tough fellas. Thanks for the video.
@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK there were hand stacked stone walls around the farms where I grew up in upstate NY (also gold country in huge moraines, but it's illegal to keep it). They were farm borders there, why did they build them where you are? Also, in NY you can't deconstruct a stone wall - it's historical. I mean, it's not like they're registered with the state and inspectors or anything, so I doubt anyone would know, but I'm curious if they're considered of any historical significance there
Like number 89 yes a few good learning lessons there but I didn’t learn where you were…… that’s the most important message… JK lol. you’ve probably forgotten more good spots than I’ll ever see. Congrats on the gold and the cool rocks I pick up more cool rocks than gold just can’t help myself. Great adventure thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
Nice gold !! You have that Gold Bug well tuned. Must have been worth it for the old timers to stack rocks like that.. Bet there remains a lot of fine gold in that gulch worth washing ? Thanks for sharing !!
@@Blackhorseveteran That was the reason for checking one out. To assertain that very question. Technically though, there should be little difference at all. The older models may become harder for fisher to repair, as the parts are not as easily sourced any longer.
Actually, those drystone walls are pretty badly made by local standards here, and fairly recent as well. I live in a house that is over 160 years old, and that isn't considered old round here. Now, if you want an old and mysterious bit of walling, I can point you to some that's over a couple of thousand years old; no gold locally (plenty of lead ore though) but the wall has been there that long, which those won't be. That is one difference between the USA and the UK. Over here, there's rather more history to look at; the written records go back nigh on a couple of thousand years, and the oldest known human-like presence is 245,000 years old. Put another way, not even our species back then.
Keep the videos coming. I'm in phoenix and I'm always running up to wickenberg and hassayampa river at the few spots to access it. My detector not very good ss2 so I sluice and pump dredge more the. Anything. Looking for more water ways to prospect close to phx. I have a truther channel I'm firing back up. Disabled so been offline but ready to go and have my nephew help with the prospecting.
Anyone been up to Clifton Arizona with detector and found big or little gold nuggets . I'm going either Monday or Wed . staying for 2 weeks . public land along Noah's point .
Good stuff, think the garret apex with 5,10,15,20 settings would be able to find small gold? Trying to decide if a minelab with the 40 would be best or if I could get away with the cheaper apex
That can be very difficult to find. Try buying it directly rom Keene Manufacturing. Or go to a store that sells lots of cloth and find one that "breathes" easily with little resistance when you blow through it. You can also hold it up to the light and see how thick the thread count is. I`ve heard people call it muslin cloth but i`ve found that no one really knows what that is in the stores.
A broad rimed hat and some sunblock on your face, neck and arms might be a good thing as much as you are out in the sun. I've had 5 surgeries for skin cancer hope that you have none.
