Oh really, don't throw your laptop. Instead, if you want to try again, do a reset. (Restore to an earlier last working state).

Sorry mate. You can do a reset or restore from last working and not lose your data.

It's still the same. It flickers like after 1-2 mins. What do think is the problem with this. Done changing power supply and video cord.

If you have PC, then it's your video card or if your PC's mboard has built-in video card so it's the mboard. Can u hear any beep sound on boot?

Tried many other options but this one worked for my system however startup is still not working. Update: There was a problem with the firewall. After sorting the issue windows is back to normal.

There is. You can try reset. Restore to last working and chose keep files so you won't lose any data.

Aww, sorry for that. You can try other methods, like checking to see if Task Manager also flickers. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to open Task Manager. If you don’t see Task Manager after pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. *** If Task Manager flickers along with everything else on the screen, a display driver is probably causing the problem. In this scenario, see the Fix your display driver section. *** If Task Manager doesn't flicker while the rest of the screen is flickering, an incompatible app is probably causing the problem. In this scenario, see the Update or uninstall an incompatible app section.

In the search box on the taskbar, type the name of the program or app you want to troubleshoot example the app you recently installed or your antivirus, Select and hold or right click it, then select Open file location. Select and hold the program file, select Properties, and select the Compatibility tab.

Some screen flickering in Windows is usually caused by display drivers. To update your display driver, you'll need to start your PC in Safe Mode, uninstall your current display adapter, and then check for driver updates. Start in safe mode, then select and hold (or right-click) Start and select Device Manager.

How to start PC in Safe Mode? At the sign-in screen, hold down the Shift key while selecting Power > Restart. After the PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart. After the PC restarts, there is a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start the PC in Safe Mode.

To stop windows error reporting try to do this go to search and type services.msc and open it. Go to Windows Error Reporting Service. Open it and on Startup Type set it to disable and click Ok then Apply to stop the service

have you tried doing it by going on Safe Mode? If by any method it is still flickering, I suggest you system restore or PC reset. i hope you find your proper fix.

Need some help with this, whenever I try to stop it from running. It gives an error stating "Windows could not stop the Windows Error Reporting Service service on Local Computer. The service did not return an error. This could be an internal Windows error or internal servive error. If the problem persist contact your system administrator."

I don't think it's a good solution for you, they said to try the ffg: if ur on a desktop pc, open the case and remove the graphics card and clean the grid with pencil eraser then put it back on. Power off 1st before I do it. 2nd is to go-to safe mode and restore / rollback to last working (reset windows). I hope this could help.

it may be a hardware issue like a failing RAM or video card. Try booting in safe mode, performing a system restore.
