@@knewswag it's weird lately I've seen more people having this issue, there's a conspiracy theory that when a new product its a about to be released older versions of that product start malfunctioning, mostly with phones and devices that get constant "updates" but anyway I reset my ps4 to factory settings and deleted everything and it's working a little better now hope yours gets better specially during quarantine
I’ve had my PS4 since 2016 and it’s been working perfectly! Until the ps5 comes out it’s a conspiracy 😂😤 thank you for making this video you may have just saved my PS4
You just saved my PS4 man thanks for being straight forward and not having a long convoluted video that doesn't help like most of the ones I watched 👀😂.
Ive only had my ps4 for a month and this is happening Brand new ps4 Its almost like sony is trying to mess up our ps4’s so we will buy the ps5’s when it comes out 🤔
Yeah I've had mine for a year and a half. All of this has very recently been happening a lot. It's like how iPhones break easily, so you can pay to repair it or buy a new one
Insane Comics it’s not cause it’s possible, that’s what Apple did, they started making there old phones more laggy and bugged so people could start buying newer phones, but they got caught doing that so now they stopped.
Same, I have had it since day one and I have never had a problem with it until the "data corrupted" crap that started two weeks ago. Very fishy stuff going on here.
I miss the ps2 days of gaming. Just a disk and a memory card. No charging the controller. No downloading massive amounts of info. No internet necessary. Just load n go.
Tyler Kegger same with me except it was Warzone! Edit: So it turns out my ps4 wasn’t corrupted it just need an update but I could only update it through safe mode. So for all y’all who tried all these initializes and rebuilding databases, try updating the ps4 in safe mode. I did it and now it’s back to normal 👍
Hey, just to let you guys know, this only works for 2-5 days max and it might show the error (CE-345054-6) again. Be aware of this! Also when you rebuild the database you might have to redownload updates. Another thing is your folders will disappear (they just disappear, not your games/apps) when you rebuild your database! As of now I haven’t found any permanent fix, however some people are speculating wether it’s because Sony wants you to buy the new ps5, or if it’s because of the cross platform between the beta ps5s and ps4s! Like for instance if someone messages you from the ps3 to the PS4, it will say “message sent from ps3”. My theory is that beta ps5 users are trying to message Ps4 users and that’s what’s causing this ( I think this is the most logical reason). On the other hand I kinda agree with people saying Sony is slowing the PS4 down with ‘unnecessary’ updates, but I kinda believe it because my old iPhone 6s got slow because of apple pushing these updates, and yes it was confirmed that Apple was slowing down old iPhones. Edit: grammatical stuff.
Hello, I have rebuilt and reinitialized the database on my ps4 pro numerous times and after a couple of days I have the same problem. I have the ps4 software on a usb drive , and I have my digital games on external hardrive so I can play them after updating. But still the error persists. I don't know how to fix this problem. Please If you found a solution kindly enlighten me. Thanks
@@adriansrmek9325 I can play them right after initializing and updating. But once the error comes back I can't anymore. I can play them on my other ps4 and even my ps5 just fine. But the one that is corrupted is the ps4 pro with 1TB and its only a couple of years old while the other one is older around 5. So I wish I could fix it
Some big games causes this error, and totally break your hard disk, what I think this is that Sony is just tryna break peoples PS4s so they would buy brand new PS5 (sorry for bad english)
It seems like the PS5 remote play or them recording all of our parties chats at all time may be bugging all of this out. Maybe the new update was the devil lol
Here’s a second way, turn off your PS4 wait a minute or two and turn it on. It will automatically rebuild database. Hope this helped and by the way the video helped me a lot!
The best fix: Back up PS4 Then reinitialize your PS4 Then come back and restore If that doesn’t work: Buy an SSD or HDD (another hard drive) Download the PS4 software on PC Put it in a Thumb drive initialize new software restore data if needed
Ever since ps5 released, my ps4 has been extremely slow when it comes to the menu and quick menu. Sometimes when I try to connect Spotify my ps4 will bring up this error, and the “quick” menu can sometimes take up to 30 seconds to actually load anything
@@gonzalez8145 idk which one because it was an old one and it had low storage so I bought an extended storage device to it but u can get any hard drive
Thank u so much bro, I had a mental breakdown when I couldn't move to a different game, this helped ALOT, I would of never figured out how to do it myself so THANK U BRO
This didn’t help at all, I’ve done this multiple times and it still corrupt multiple times a day, sometimes immediately after I’ve rebuilt the database
Same here just started happening a few weeks ago. It was right after I downloaded metro exodus. Had no problems before that now it says corrupted. I am beyond pissed
Mark Santory I’m pretty sure Sony is doing it on purpose so we buy the new consoles. I have an xbox and a ps4 so I think imma go with the series x next gen
@@rac.mp4 I'm starting to think that too. At first I thought it was metro exodus but now I'm seeing this happened to a bunch of people recently... It definitely looks shady as hell man. I swear I've bought a playstation ever since the ps1 a d if this turns out to be true I'm definitely switching over to xbox. All I know is I'm super pissed bc now mine won't even let me try anything.
Thank you! Been doing this for a week now and I thought it was funked! Also, I didn’t know you could reset a PS4 and start earning all of your trophies and that from scratch! So might do that as well! 🤷🏼♂️ 😄
I'm still having problems with my ps4. I keep on getting corrupted data from the application. I already tried to rebuild database for like 20 times still having the same problem with corrupted data. I don't know if it needs cleaning. Every time I play a game I keep on getting corrupted data from the application. I don't know what's wrong with my ps4
Charles Teran - Exactly the same thing happening to me recently, I’ve had to initialise the PS4 (completely wipe it) & download my games back; still waiting to see if this fixes the problems.
Thank you soo much i was playing COD and then that happened i got so scared but thanks to your video its working again you just earned yourself a subscriber 👍🏽
I had the exact same issue and all I did was restart instead of shutdown. It started back up and rebuilt the database on its own and is now working fine so far. I suggest you try restarting before doing all this.
Idk if you'll see this but I just turned mine off and turned it back on and it rebuilt the database, the only thing it did was made mw how back to like the factory version were it had to be updated again and I can't start mw until I updated it
First time mine corrupted so when I googled the problem screen your video came up first so you must be right if your the first option. Thank you for making the video and fixing my ps4. I hit the like definitely
I was playing diablo 3 and out off nowhere that error appeared, the only thing that i think caused it whas that i was using internet and suddenly it dropped.
15Nov2020 PS4 Pro doing this everyday for 3 days now... but only when I leave it idle and it puts itself into rest mode. Kinda weird but I’m going to try this and see. Powers up fine with no issue after rebuilding database. It’s take time to let it power itself down, but if I don’t update this post, all was well. Thanks!
After selecting ok to rebuild data base, it goes back to “checking system storage status” stops at 90% & doesn’t restart... Then goes back to “cannot restart ps4 connect DualShock 4 & press the ps button”😒
The answer to my problem was buying a brand new hard drive! So I went to Best Buy & night the 1TB & my game has been working perfect ever since!!! I lost all my data but hey, I just enjoyed playing games over again, especially during this “quarantine” lol...
To the people coming to the comments to see if this works, it does and it fix my problem. When I logged back in my downloaded apps weren’t appearing at first but I went to the App Store and I clicked the start button. Thank bro and I’m subscribing:)
Actually, you don’t need to actually turn it off. Restart it(the button under the turn off PlayStation button) and it will rebuild the database(it will tell you and show you as its actively rebuilding it)
It just started happening today. I was playing SOW and it said that my database is corrupted but I thought it was one of those virus "catch me if you can" kinda ones so I went on with my business and it popped up again and when I clicked ok it popped up again instantly like five times until it finally stopped. I did what you said and no more pop-ups so thank you!
I did this and when I play games now, my ps4 freezes. I cant turn it off, I cant do anything. My friend had the same issue but when he rebuilt his database it fixed everything. IF anyone has had my problem please let me know if you have fixed it.
Mark Butler try this, turn the ps4 completely off (no blue, green, orange, any lights on) and you can do two things here. Unplug the power cable from your ps4 from the console and leave it for 10-15 mins. This does a reset. Or simply Press the power button and don’t let go. As soon as you press it you should hear one beep, wait about 7 seconds and you’ll hear a second beep. Not sure if your hdmi cable is having problems or it’s your hard drive or system but hopefully this helps.
Androo J Well you did help me get the the screen I should be on but when I click rebuild database my PS4 turns off then turns back on bringing me back to the “cannot start PS4 screen” what should I do now?
Bruce The Dude that is the exact same thing mine was doing. Sadly it was the hard drive, so it’s more than likely your hard drive. But thankfully Sony made it so you can easily replace it on the ps4 pro. I upgraded to the Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD & it’s been a night and day difference (highly recommend) & it only cost $150. If that’s too pricey id recommend buying another hard drive from Sony’s official website.
It helped because i seeked for helping videos before i kept seeing it. I remembered when i had my first WWII edition PS4 it became database corrupted and my brother and i kept playing till it became broken. I checked YT after it broke knowing i wouldve been able to fix it. So glad to have thought of this vid before i continued playing
I had my ps4 for so long and tonight is the first time it started doing this.. I'm trying my hardest to figure out a way to fix this issue. So far , I turned off the ps4 and then whenever I got ready to turn it back on, hold the power button on the system for 7-10 seconds to activate SAFE MODE, once safe mode comes up jus select UPDATE SYSTEM SOFTWARE and then let that finish. Whenever that was done, it automatically rebuild my database and then the game came on normal. Not sure how long this method will keep the system working but for now as of 8:25 pm October 15, 2020 it is working. PSA: I did not have to use the rebuild database option at all but some of u may have too! It will also update some games automatically after u get the system working again.
@@Toast-jl9lo OK. Another thing u could do is initialize the ps4 but do that at your own risk because it will delete saved data and user accounts. I jus did that like an hour ago and everything is running smooth. I took that chance because I have PS+ so the data that I mainly cared about was saved to my cloud so that I could retrieve it and I also have all of my currently installed games installed directly onto my external hard drive and not the PS4 system itself so that I don't have to download any games or updates..
I am having this. I tried the fix in this, and also initilized and reinstalled EVERYTHING.. and it's doing it again.. it's even doing it on youtube.. it comes up with the error, this morning it let me keep watching YT and then it came up again and everytime I would exit out of the error it would pop right back up. I'm not sure what to do at this point.. could it be the hard drive that is just messed up? I mean, are there any other ways to possibly fix it? other than OPTION 5 and 6?
Ok so I fixed my problem so if you go to your library scroll up and down your games should appear again and should still have your progress on time your games saved. Thank you for the vid ❤
Thx for the vid this just happened and at first it only showed it once but when I turned my ps4 in rest mode and turned it back on that’s when it started popping up like crazy so thx for the video :)
