How to fix sunroof leaking BMW E38

What do you mean by adesive ? You mean the sealant ? I used a sealant for bathroom

Last year I removed the headliner to locate the leak, it was 100% from here. If it's leak again, you probably put wrong the sealant ;)

@@maciekjr06 I used a bathroom sealant, you should be good for a while with it

MecaLogic also do you seal both sides or only right one? I only have a problem with the right one. Drains and draining properly but every time there is a heavy rain floor is wet, water in the glovebox and I see water stains on the side front pillar.

Je pense que c'est deux problème différents. la fuite d'eau c'est la pièce en question dans la vidéo, le bruit d'air, c'est probablement le joint autour de la partie mobile qui fait plus son role ;)

@@MecaLogic D'accord je vais m'orienter par la, parce que l'entreprise rapide par brise de Saint malo m'a déjà remplacé 4fois le par brise parce que j'ai des fuites d'aire. Le poseur m'a dit que c'était impossible que ça vienne du par brise du coup, donc je vais m'orienter vers le toit ouvrant maintenant. Merci de ta réponses et à + sur l'amical 😉

You have to do it on both side. No official fix

Yes, it was designed like that. The sunroof seal is for the wind noise :)

I think a fresh seal would reduce the amount of water and dirt coming in. So at least you won't clog up the drains with debris and pollon from trees.
