You won't believe it's been 2 months since my last relaxer and I'm attempting to hold out one more month which will put me at 12 weeks. I took your advice. The only way I did it was by wearing wigs and I haven't had any quick weaves using glue. Can't wait to see the difference.

+AlwayzSmilin GottaLoveHer Hi there! So glad you are stretching it out! I seem to be experience better length retention using this method. I'm pretty careful to do some serious deep conditioning towards the end of my stretching using oil mixtures (castor oil, almond oil and I've added shea butter which - WOW - made my hair SUPER SOFT). I find the deep conditioning with oils a little better than conditioning masks for new growth as it makes the hair softer for detangling. Anyways my dear, thank you so much for watching! Hey Dominique! Great video. I think everyone has a shorter side or a side that doesn't quite cooperate as well as the other side. For me, it's my right side and I think it's because that is the side I mainly sleep on. Sleeping in a silk bonnet every night I must say has truly helped in strengthening my hair on the right side. I flat iron my hair pretty much the same way using heat protectant and my Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Straightening Iron 1.5 Inch. I like to use larger sections and do the chase method though.

+VIOLET W Hey Violet. Thanks for that! I'm doing some research on why that side is shorter, but I agree. It is the side I sleep on. Something that helped me greatly was making sure my hair is out of the way when I put my bag on my shoulder. When I started doing that, that side of my hair grew quite well as the shoulder strap was no longer breaking it off! xoxox

Artic highlights, lol. I've never heard that one. My left side of my hair is the weakest and slightly shorter and I have yet to figure out what to do with it, if you figure out what to do with your short side please share. Great video and beautiful results. :)

I have a couple of lines by Keratase, but find it doesn't agree with my hair. I have breakage & shedding from it. I'm so bummed because I thought I was purchasing the best products. Too bad.

Hi Winter Sweet! Thank you! My sister does not have a RU-vid channel, sadly! I tried to get her to start one, but she's so busy that she doesn't have the time at the moment to focus on it. +ANH711 Yes - definitely. I always reach for either almond oil or coconut oil. Sometimes, I'll use Schwarzkopf Sealed Ends on my hair too. That stuff is AMAZING. Thanks for watching! xo
