Easy tip on compressing the pistons back into the caliper. If you have a c-clamp, put the old brake pad against the pistons and use the c-clamp or a large set of pliers to compress both pistons back in.
Great video. I would have been scratching my head trying to get the caliper off. Didn’t know you had to hold that nut to get the caliper off. I just bought a g8 gt with 9000 miles, I have a steering wheel shimmy and will replace the rotors/pads on the front to see if this is the issue.
Thanks for tutorial! My G8 also has the slightly warped front rotors from the factory, pretty common I think. Been meaning to do a brake job and also replace rotors. Where did you get you parts? Factory replacement?
