Why would you need insurance and a bond “before” you’ve even tested?... what if: you fail the test or aren’t approved to even take the test?... it seems out of order to me

Upon approval of your application, applicants will receive written notification of the approval, along with information on how to schedule your exam. You will need to submit your diploma, transcript or school certificate in a sealed envelop to prove your education. Throughout the application process, the Georgia State Licensing Board will require various forms of documentation to verify work experience. The information about experience/education you gave is incorrect. The basic residential contractor license in Georgia only requires 2 years of experience not 4 years of experience/education.
